HASH(0x8da27834) out of 5 stars A must have for any Sammy Hagar fan! 27 July 1999

VOA is a high-octane song. Don't make me wait too long is a very moving song. I can't drive 55 is a must for any serious rock collector. Rock is in my blood is true Hagar rock. The blistering energy on this CD is amazing just like the Van Halen album, 5150, and will go down in history as 1 of Sammy Hagar's best albums of all time.

HASH(0x8df22fb4) out of 5 stars Sammy's Best 17 Feb. 2011
By Polar Bear - Published on Amazon.com

I know a lot of people will disagree with me, but in my opinion, this is Sammy's best album of all time. Keep in mind I'm a huge Hagar fan and love ALL of his recordings. I Can't Drive 55 is one of his best rockers ever, and I love the guitars on Dick in the Dirt. Two Side of Love is a great change-of-pace ballad. To me, every song on this album is awesome. Yes, some of h is older songs are classic, but you can't go wrong with this one. Highly recommended!!
HASH(0x8e84396c) out of 5 stars Great Album 12 April 2016

I bought this for my wife as she requested another copy ( CD) when he cassette tape of all things finally gave up the ghost. Not to far removed from his Montrose days, Sammy doesn't disappoint at all.
HASH(0x8df22b64) out of 5 stars I'm a long time Hagar fan, what can I say 6 Jun. 2013

Best Hagar solo album ever, but that's just my opinion. Glad they reissued it finally as I've been looking for it for a year. If you haven't heard it, then I'd guess you're not a big Hagar fan or are just younger than I am. It has a slick 80's sounding production, but still has great guitar riffs and a good rock foundation. It's not Van Halen if that's your favorite Hagar era, but I still think you may like it. It's much more polished than his Montrose days, and for me at least, all but maybe one or two songs are repeatedly listenable.

HASH(0x8de1d5d0) out of 5 stars Another great CD by Sammy!! 14 Jun. 1999
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com

This is the third album in the Geffen trilogy of platinum albums that put Sammy into true rockstar status. "I can't Drive 55" and "Two Sides of Love" are the most popular songs here, but "Swept Away" is a great tune!! This music is all Sammy, and while possibly the weakest (if you can even call it that!) in the Trilogy, it stands by itself as a fantastic album. I strongly recommend this one, but don't miss "Standing Hampton" and "Three Lock Box" while you're at it. This music truely withstands the test of time and will make you happy!!
