If ants invade your home they can be a real nuisance. Indoors the only real method of control is to locate the nest by following the trail of ants. Nippon Ant Killer Liquid is formulated to destroy complete ant colonies without trace. It consists of a sugary bait specially formulated to appeal to black ants - the type that tend to be attracted inside the home. Worker ants take the sweet bait back to the nest and feed it to the whole colony. Nippon Ant Killer Liquid is particularly useful when the ant nest site is unknown or inaccessible, but likely entrance points include holes in walls, around drainage and waste pipes, air bricks, and beneath work surfaces, kitchen units, baths and wash basins.Nippon Ant Killer Liquid should be used at the first sign of ant activity, normally early Spring. To use, apply a few drops of the liquid to a non-absorbent surface near the ant run. Do not disturb feeding ants as it is essential they take the bait back to the nest and the rest of the colony. Change the bait daily until any activity ceases. An effective dose is normally built up within the colony in 7-10 days, depending on the size of the colony and frequency of feeding.Contains spinosad .Use biocides safely. This year, after spending who knows how much we were considering getting a professional company, but based on reviews decided to give Nippon Ant Killer a try - for the small price tag it was a risk worth taking
Wow! We placed the liquid down as instructed on 2p coins and placed three of them into three areas we were seeing the ants emerge. In the first night we were almost enthralled watching ants line up and take the bait. By morning it was gone and we restocked the coins. This went on for about 3-days, and then the bait stopped being taken.
After just 3-days the liquid had done its trick. We are now 3-weeks since the last bait was taken with no sign of ants at all.
Ignore the expensive solutions or the plastic houses that claim to do the same as this - get this product and if you position it in the right place (in the ant run) then it will work and the best thing is you can see it working.
I use Nippon liquid every summer and it works brilliantly. This year I bought it from this seller and it didn't work. The ants just walked around it, then built dams over it!
I was REALLY surprised! I was starting to think this year's ants were 'super ants' somehow and were immune!
Looking at the tube, it's got a 2002 expiry date. No wonder it didn't work.
Have complained to Amazon that seller is selling out of date products.
It has NEVER failed to work provided you follow the instructions.
I've bought weed killer that doesn't kill weeds, but when it comes to ants Nippon does exactly what it claims, which is something of a rarity these days. Ants love it, and so do I!
My annual infestation started yesterday and I placed the bait last night. Already the ants are making a bee line (sorry about that one!) for it. I know that within 3 days they will all be gone.
An extra tip (of my own) is to gradually move the poison nearer the point the ants are entering the house. That way you don't have to negotiate the steady column of the blessed things for as long. I've found by the last day (if there are still any left), you can usually have them all eating the stuff BEFORE they even enter the house!
Bye bye ants.
