A good read

My attention was immediately grabbed as I attended the opera school at that time with the author. I could recognise the character traits of our fellow students although the author has created conglomerate characters and then added some interesting twists. My attention was held right to the end with the mystery of the founder's past and it didn't dis appoint when revealed.A little frustrating for me was the fact that some of the chronology was not factual including which operas were performed and when but this would not disturb a reader who had no connection with the actual school. It's a novel not a history of the school/theatre.I recommend this book as a very good holiday read. I couldn't put it down!
