Really good for people like me who have problems using a normal keyboard. My fingers hurt and have reduced dexterity form arthrosis, so this keyboard is the answer to my prayers!

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Neat Device 28 Jan. 2014
By Finny - Published on Amazon.com

I purchased this to go along with my Neptune Pine. A full Android watch phone. The watch form factor is perfect for a phone, as I don't generally like carrying bulky things around. However, typing on a watch is obviously not the easiest thing in the world to do.

I purchased the virtual laser projected usb keyboard to allow me to type on my watch, whenever / wherever I need to.

This device is surprisingly small. Just a bit larger than a typical fob that you might have four your car, alarm, etc. Let's say half-way between the size of a pack of cards and a car fob.

It works great. Takes a bit of getting used to. The lack of tactile feedback being the biggest limit to using it successfully. Once you get used to typing it is not that hard.

Seems durable.
Feels well-built.
Looks sexy.
Easy to use interface.
Detailed manual.

I will update if I run into any problems. So far, I am very pleased with this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just got it, love it. 7 Feb. 2014

It connected to my iphone 5 via bluetooth, so no cables! It does take a while to get used to not pushing buttons when typing but rather just touching your desk. It made me realize that when I type on my keyboard I rest my fingers on ASDF and JKL; - you cannot rest your fingers on this keyboard. I'm sure that after getting used to it, it'll be a joy. Very sleek looking.

2.0 out of 5 stars Works only for single finger hunt&peck, too hard to calibrate and too dim. 17 Jan. 2015
By Denny - Published on Amazon.com

When I try to do regular typing (not single finger input), it picks up motion it shouldn't treat as key clicks. So you get a ton of junk input that thoroughly garbles what you are trying to type. Even after trying the (very poorly described) calibration options. And the keyboard image is pretty dim. I've tried it on 8 different table surfaces so far, hoping that might help, but it's pretty much the same.

If I do single finger hunt&peck typing, it works fine. But I can do that just with my phone's screen software keyboard. The only reason I tried this laser keyboard was to get a portable fullsized keyboard experience where I could use all my fingers to type faster when emailing or texting from my phone. Unfortunately this technology just isn't there yet.

4.0 out of 5 stars Coolness Factor 10+ (could be a bit geeky, but still Cool) 2 Feb. 2015

This is really awesome and cool to use... of course, this works!

Pros:
- This really works!
- Easy to setup - take it out of the box, power it on, then pair with your device... then type away!
- Works on our office table that is sort of shiny (semi glossy?) artificial wood finish (light tan with streaks)
- I can also write C-based codes (and even SQL) with this keyboard without issues

Cons:
- Misses some of my keystrokes when the interval is really quick. I don't type fast (I normally use a total of 6 fingers) but there are certain sequence of characters that can be type quickly (like O and U when I type the word OUT)
- As other reviewers have said, the battery life is too short. If you plan on REALLY using this, better connect this to a small power bank (2000 mAh or so)
