Ok, so I read the prologue...hmm interesting I think, where is Kimberley taking us this time, cause let's face it, there's always a ride!

Then I start reading and I'm, what! Did not expect that not so soon way too early in a book, starting with the end?

Then comes twist one, bit slow on the uptake here....not been well...no excuse you know this writer too well for the twists not to come but then there's ROCK well, my mind is in a muddle I've already changed his name!

Will the regret slip in, should she have said from the start is this a mistake, shouldn't she just go on living in the past as she'd planned?

Oh and here comes book 2 somehow think I'm loving this series!

THE VIOLET WIDOW? : THE SHATTERED HEARTS SERIES # 1
KE OSBORN
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have been desperate to read this book and OMFG am i glad i did! It's been a while since i've been so lost in a story that i've forgotten what's happening around me... I can safely say i lost track of everything whilst reading this!!!
It's book 1 of 2 and it has ripped every emotion possible through me from head to toe countless times during the journey that Violet takes...
As i refuse to give spoilers, it's hard to express the reasons i loved it so much, but i'll try...
Violet is married to her childhood sweetheart, Danny and has a 5 year old son, Caiden... She has a perfect happy life full of love and happiness... Until tragedy strikes, not once but twice!!!
When a person brakes emotionally, nothing can fix them... Right?
Emotionally frozen and unwilling to let anyone inside her heart... Violet becomes The Violet Widow!!!
It's not until she meets mystery man 'Rock' that she begins to 'feel' which scares the living s*** out of her!!!
Will she ever be able to open herself to love? Is she capable of loving again? Or has too much damage been done? What happens if she takes a leap and tries, only to have her heart shredded again? Will she survive another?
With twists and turns that will have you reading and not able to put it down, the deeper into the story you go, the more you need to know!!! Just when things in Violet's life seem to be knocking down her walls and going well, you get smacked with one hell of a cliffhanger, that will leave you cursing and heartbroken and everything inbetween... Keep tissues handy, you will definitely need them! Can't wait to find out what's planned for book 2, but i can pretty much promise it's gonna be one hell of a ride!!!

KE Osborn really knows how to get your emotions going, ripping out your heart and wondering how the characters life can turn around.. and that's just the prologue. When were first introduced to Violet, she has experienced something no one should ever have to. In one night, everything she knows and loves is gone. Her life shattered. How can she move on when she has lost so much?

It is five years later, out in a bar drowning her sorrows that she meets Rock. He's handsome, kind yet has a touch of bad boy charisma, Violet can't help but be drawn to him. There's something different about him that has her wondering if she can let any one else in. After what she's been through in the last five years, she doesn't deserve happiness in her eyes. How could this man want her if he knew the truth of how low she got?

These two really hit it off, and with a bit of persistence, Rock aims to break down Violets walls. He wants to know the woman underneath. But what is she hiding? Why won't she answer his questions? Rock was a great character and I really couldn't fault him. I loved how he knew what he wanted and was willing to work for him and Violet. He needs to help her overcome her fears and embrace the love he knows that they could have. But just how far do some wounds run deep? Are some things better left unsaid?

For me, this is one of KE Osborns best books to date. She gets the emotions and tragedy of this book just right, so that you feel everything and really connect with the characters. You suspect you knows whats going on or what will happen, and when everything comes to light, you're left wondering how on earth they're going to get past this new obstacle. It was so nice to watch how both characters grew throughout the book.

What a fantastic emotional read!

You can tell from the blurb that it's going to pull at your heartstrings....and it so does!

Hudson is just sex on legs (want to see him in his suit.....and his birthday suit!!)

The Violet Widow....what can I say about her? Life dealt get a horrific blow and she battled out the only way she thought she could....her dreams made me want to sob.

2 things....1) this book is a HOT little number so get your fans ready and 2) Hudson's brothers are mine. I've publicly staked my claim. So there.

I freaking Loved this story, this was one hell of a thriller romance. this was one rollercoaster Of a ride .

There was one point in the middle of the book where Hudson says about secrets

and my brain just clicked I knew then he was a 🌟🌟🌟🌟. This one had a real thriller feel about it I was on tender hooks reading  it. The way he was soo cold towards her when he found out at the truth as to what she does,  that boy needed some sense  knocking to him What  a complete  idiot. I was screaming  at my kindle 'What are you  doing? Can't  you see what right in front of  you.' And then the cliffhanger wow... I think Hudson still does loves violet but he's being such a guy. I think  it will take something  major to happen like her near death before  he opens his eyes and sees what has been right in front of  him.

The readers will love this cannot  wait to recommend this one to all.my friends.
