I saw this colouring book in The Works shop amongst many other books I have originally seen on the Amazon website. It actually made a nice change flipping through each individual book to see what the paper quality was like, along with the drawings themselves. I liked what I saw and bought it.

I am now thoroughly addicted, even moreso than any other colouring book I have had previously (and, believe me, I own a few)!

The drawings themselves are on every page and can be taken out if necessary. The perforations are right at the edge, which is unusual but welcome all the same. Give the paper a slight tug and out it comes. I have never ripped a page yet and disagree with some reviewers who say that pens 'bleed' through. I have used Berols, Staedtlers, AtYouSpica Glitter pens and Stabilos and none have bled through. I suggest if anyone uses pens they don't press on too much, the pens tend to do the work for you. I hope this advice helps.

How hard are the drawings to colour in? Not very hard but I like the fact that each drawing is finished off and that nothing is difficult to colour in. I do possess more famous books where the drawings go onto the spine of the book but there is no such problem with this offering and for the £5 I paid (reduced from £9.99 with the added benefit there were no delivery charges) I reckon it was a bargain. There are many drawings to colour in (I also use pencils depending on my mood) so they will keep me occupied for quite some time.

A great stress reliever!

When this arrived my husband thought I had gone nuts! But amazed that it kepts me quiet for a couple of hours at a time. The patterns are lovely, there are a couple I don't like, but thats a personal thing, and nothing to do with the quality of the book. I haven't sat down to do in colouring in since I was a child, and you forget how much you used to enjoy it until you get those pencils back in your hands. I understand that it is now used as form of Therapy for some people, and I can see why - you stop thinking about the day to day as you are so busy concentrating of the designs. This will come on holiday with me. The only thing I was advise, felt pens bleed, I read another review and it said it was ok to use, so I didn't do a test - and it does bleed. So I ruined the second page in a corner, not the end of the world, as I didn't like the second design - and my fault for not testing first. So, either test it yourself, or use coloured pencils - which if used properly, give you the options to blend beautifully. Very happy with purchase and delivery was excellent.

The patterns are great but the paper quality is not as good as I expected. Would like to know what you would recommended to colour with? My pens bled straight through the paper, ruining the pattern on the other side. I also bought the Gorgeous & Creative Books too so was very disappointed.

Fab colouring book. Just wish the pages were that little bit heavier as I used sharpie felt tips and they went through to the picture on the reverse of the page. Or it would be great to have 1 page per picture rather than double sided.

Other than that I really like this, the patterns are great and I'm sure this will last for ages- I took it on the plane with me :-)

The price was great when you consider the ones in the shops retail for £9.99
