Review by Juliette Westbrook-Finch, author of The Poetry of Passion (for People with a Pulse)
The book's creativity is not stifled by normal conventions: the first poem is called `The End' and, in some of the poems, text is used in very original ways.
This book is ideal for dipping into again and again. It is enjoyable and thought provoking and would make a lovely present.
It is filled with thoughts and images to ponder on over and over again, or just to pick up and enjoy at face value.
It will appeal to all ages - my grandchildren have enjoyed it as has my 97 year old mother.
It is modestly priced, I have found it makes a splendid present.
A friend of mine had this book on their coffee table. I read a few pages (actually quite a few) but didn't get chance to finish it. I liked it so much that I decided to buy my own copy. Something I don't usually do. But as the price was so reasonable for such a beautifully put together book I decided what the hell.
In a nutshell. This makes a perfect present for anyone. I'm not into 'poetry' books but this really is something different.
