A great 'past and present' based book, I also purchased the two London to Brighton line / traction through time books from the same series and this book compliments them as a 'triple' set almost. One thing to bear in mind, if you are researching something very specific, an example, for me I was researching the GatEx in the 90s, the book appeared to just have two references to the service throughout, so this book is very much an 'overview' of the subject.

Used Victoria a lot - at last I can see how it has developed and become such an important transport hub - very interesting and entertaining
