I am giving this album a five rating due to the instrumentals being exceptional and a significant contribution to Irish traditional music.
Stockton's Wing was formed in 1977 in County Ennis Ireland with five all-Ireland Contest winners - Paul Roche, Maurice Lennon, Kieran Hanrahan, and pioneering bodhran repeated winner Tommy Hayes. Tony Callihan won the Guinness sponsored traditional music competition.

It is vintage out of publication material that is basically unavailable otherwise, and from what I remember half of the tracks are instrumentals. The banjo, mandolin, flute, tinwhistle, fiddle, guitar, bones and bodrhan mix is relaxed and smooth. This is a highly talented group that deserves rediscovery.
