I was attracted to this unit as it could backup both MAC and Windows computer files, it will back up MAC from system 10.4 onwards which is quite old by today's standards, but there are quite a few G3 and later computers using the old type of pre-Intel OS, so this super capacity unit 2TB (as opposed to a G5 standard HD of 60GB) is pretty amazing.
Al l did was create a new folder for each machine and copied and pasted in files to back up so simple as it could be. Worked well on my HP laptop for backing up files, so this is a really useful thing to have. I will buy another as a backup part 2 as it is such a good unit.
