This is already my favourite Vegan cookbook. Sometimes I follow recipes and for some reason they just don’t work (I think I just might be a terrible cook), but not with this book! I’ve tackled 3 recipes so far and everything has come out looking exactly as it does in the pictures and tastes amazing! The instructions are so easy to follow and really not time consuming either. I love it.
I received this book a short time ago. It’s a lovely book to read through and it’s set out in a really easy way to follow. My oldest granddaughter has been vegetarian for many years and so I am used to adapting meals for her and eating vegetarian when we go out for a day. What I find really appealing is the fact that the ingredients are all easy to find in local shops, most are already in my cupboard and there are not long lists of ingredients that you use rarely and go well past their use by date before you want to use them again. As I developed some digestive issues last year, I no longer consume dairy products and find meat/poultry hard to digest so for me a vegan approach suits.
I bought this book a week ago and have so far made 4 recipes from it and every single one has turned out amazingly! I absolutely love this book. Every recipe is so so simple to make, they’re easy to follow, quick, cheap as utterly delicious!! I’ve also managed to impress quite a few non vegans with these recipes to point they preferred the vegan version to non (the Wellington for example) I really couldn’t recommend this book any more. Whether you’re vegan or not BUY IT!! You won’t regret it!!!!
Thought I’d start making some vegan dinners now and again to do my bit, so I got this book and actually I’m really interested to try more than I’d expected. The results surprised me, all the recipes I’ve cooked are very nice, and now I’ve got more choice of meals to eat each week which is always a bonus. The recipes are easy to follow and I found I have most of the ingredients and any others I can easily get in supermarkets quite cheaply.
If you’re new to the whole vegan thing and don’t want to spend hours in the kitchen then this is really quite a decent place to start. Happy days
I’ve followed these two for some time now and it’s a pleasure to support them in the release of their new book. The concept of So Vegan is to prove that being vegan does not always mean complicated ingredients and lot’s of time/effort spent on cooking. Each recipe is quick and easy to prepare with clear instructions and gorgeous images of each finished piece. As well as smaller images demonstrating each ingredient. The book is very pleasant to look at and would catch anybody’s eye, vegan or not. I got my copy on offer for just £10 which I thought was a fantastic deal, however, I would pay full price. I will continue to support the guys at So Vegan. I highly recommend this book :-)
I’m pretty sure this is my first Amazon review ever but it just had to be done! I’m following So Vegan on IG for a while now and I always find their posts really inspiring. I loved the look of the “meat” loaf recipe and after cooking it for our Christmas dinner I decided I NEED to have this book. I’ve got a feeling it will be one of my favourites for lots of different occasions. After all who wouldn’t like to eat well (or impress their guests?) with dishes that are so easy to preprare?
Amazing vegan cookbook! The recipes are easy to follow and you don’t need loads of ingredients like you do in the Bosh book! I have tried 5 recipes so far and they are all amazing and taste great! I would highly recommend it!
Full of really interesting recipes, which are really easy to make - I didn’t know making gnocchi from scratch was so easy! I’ve been vegan for a year and a half now, and the pancakes I made were the best I’ve had since then (maybe even before!)
