This is already my favourite Vegan cookbook. Sometimes I follow recipes and for some reason they just don’t work (I think I just might be a terrible cook), but not with this book! I’ve tackled 3 recipes so far and everything has come out looking exactly as it does in the pictures and tastes amazing! The instructions are so easy to follow and really not time consuming either. I love it.
I bought this cookbook after discovering So Vegan online some time ago. Just like their Facebook channel it's full of fun, beautifully presented recipes, which generally don't require any super hard to find ingredients or complicated techniques. Perfect for someone like me who likes to cook but doesn't have the time to follow 20 step recipes which take hours to prepare. The fact it's vegan is just an added bonus!
I love this book. The cover and photos are very pretty and sweet so it is nice to keep it on the worktop and look at it. It has very tasty and easy to make recipes. I really like the idea of 5 ingredients. It is simple to prepare and cook the dishes. I already maked a few of them and found it amazingly tasty. If you think been a vegan is eating bland, think again! There is a hundred unbelievably tasty meals in this beautiful book. That will delight any pallet wether you are vegan or not.
I bought this book a week ago and have so far made 4 recipes from it and every single one has turned out amazingly! I absolutely love this book. Every recipe is so so simple to make, they’re easy to follow, quick, cheap as utterly delicious!! I’ve also managed to impress quite a few non vegans with these recipes to point they preferred the vegan version to non (the Wellington for example) I really couldn’t recommend this book any more. Whether you’re vegan or not BUY IT!! You won’t regret it!!!!
I have a lot of recipe books and I often find that I only want to make 1 or 2 recipes. The list of ingredients (especially in vegan cookbooks) can put me off.
This book is different because all the ingredients are simple, easy to buy and the recipes are perfect for everyday. The pictures of the 5 ingredients needed for each recipe make it really accessible and I can often see that I already have most of them in the cupboard :) I've already tried a couple and they were brilliant - really tasty!!! Definitely recommend.
I've been vegan for a year and tried lots of different books but this has been the best. It feels like it's written for people who love good food but don't have a lot of time in the day.
Having lovely tasty vegan recipes that look impressive, are quick and easy to make, and don't require a long list of unusual ingredients makes them so accessible. Despite working full time, having a long commute and an energetic little person I've been able to try a new recipe almost every day since buying it. I haven't bought any takeaways, and reduced my weekly spend on food shopping. Best of all they're delicious recipes! Even non vegan family members have asked me to get them a copy, being so impressed with the tasty food.
So all round this book has been game changing. It will be a firm favourite consulted again and again.
Thought I’d start making some vegan dinners now and again to do my bit, so I got this book and actually I’m really interested to try more than I’d expected. The results surprised me, all the recipes I’ve cooked are very nice, and now I’ve got more choice of meals to eat each week which is always a bonus. The recipes are easy to follow and I found I have most of the ingredients and any others I can easily get in supermarkets quite cheaply.
If you’re new to the whole vegan thing and don’t want to spend hours in the kitchen then this is really quite a decent place to start. Happy days
I’ve followed these two for some time now and it’s a pleasure to support them in the release of their new book. The concept of So Vegan is to prove that being vegan does not always mean complicated ingredients and lot’s of time/effort spent on cooking. Each recipe is quick and easy to prepare with clear instructions and gorgeous images of each finished piece. As well as smaller images demonstrating each ingredient. The book is very pleasant to look at and would catch anybody’s eye, vegan or not. I got my copy on offer for just £10 which I thought was a fantastic deal, however, I would pay full price. I will continue to support the guys at So Vegan. I highly recommend this book :-)
