1.0 out of 5 stars WARNING on VECTONE 2 Dec. 2013
By lostre2
I've been a client of Vectone and have regretted it for many reasons.

Despite having done great effort to help them improve their service, telling them every time what problem I had and how it would be good to resolve it (website issues, roaming issues, misleading advertisements, unclear charges and reporting on your account....) nothing seems to be bad enough for them to start using their brains.

I concur 100% with the above comment as I have experienced many issues with Vectone:

1. They change or discontinue data plans without informing the costumer. - I had a first offer with unlimited calls abroad and at some point they just decided to cancel the offer)

2. They make it so difficult to get your pack number to leave the network. (see below)

3. Their customer service is terrible and non cooperative. (see below)

4. Their network coverage and quality are poor to the point you can't receive call even when you have signal. (I went to see a tennis game and was unable to call or send an sms - imagine what would happen in a big football game)

5. There lines are so bad you can't even hear the customer service on the end of the line

However, lets say the above happen.... For me, the straw that broke the camel's back was last weekend I was abroad (in Paris - not really far from the UK) and while I had a lot of credit and full connection to every single French provider I was unable to make a call. I had to stay in the cold because I could not call a taxi or my hotel until some kind gentleman lend me his phone.

I then sent them an email. No response. I eventually borrowed another phone of a friend and called the customer care 5 times (cost me a lot of money because I was calling them from a French number).

1.0 out of 5 stars Absolute waste of time - VECTONE! 16 July 2012
Verified Purchase
The seller did an excellent job of shipping me the sim card on time, but as for the vectone sim card, ah ... absolute waste of time! And when I called vectone customer care to ask why their sim was not picking up any signal at all they all seemed so clueless! Anyway from now on I'll stick to what I know... good old vodafone!

I did unfortunately start working with Vectone as my mobile phone net provider. I say unfortunately, because I have an issue ticket opened with them (i.e. I cannot receive calls from certain network users) for longer than three weeks and after calling them dozens of times nobody was able to actually solve the problem. They have the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my whole live. Do not waste your money, time and health with them and work with any other provider. This is what I finally had to do...Best regards.

5.0 out of 5 stars EXCELLENT PHONE NETWORK...BUT 12 Dec. 2015
By David
Only been a Vectone customer for a few months but I have to say their bundle deals are excellent value for money.

Vectone works, in the UK, using the EE network.Where i live it offers me better coverage than most of the big mobile operators.

The only thing what lets them down is their Customer Services..Had to contact them to deactivate my voicemail..Took me ages to get thru to them..Their call centre is only open from 8am to 8pm and it seems like their call centre is in India.

For a £10 (UK) PAYG Bundle you get unlimited minutes, unlimited texts, unlimited data..also unlimited vectone to vectone minutes and texts ..I have a dual sim phone and also use Vodafone PAYG, and for me to get unlimited minutes + texts from them i would have to buy a £30 freedom pack.

Do what i did and check out their website and see what bundle would suit you best..They specialise in offering great bundles for international calls and also cheap international rates..but for me i wasn't interested in that I just wanted UK calls only.

You can buy Vectone topups from any Paypoint retailer or top up online..Then once you top up just phone with the bundle code you want ( ie phone *1001# for £10 unlimited bundle)
