Because they are unisex if you are a woman buy the size smaller than what you are as they are to fit both a man and woman.
I am a UK size 6 women's and bought a size 5 and they fit perfectly!!

My first pair of vans I'm so happy with them. I've seen so many designs I didn't know which ones to choose so I just went with the old skool classic in black and white. They really go with any outfit. I think I love these more than converse now haha. Will be ordering more colours.

I think they are alright but is not like the same colour as it shows on the photo... is a cheap red what I received.. the trainers are cheap and not really a good quality for the manufacture and performance.. you pay mostly the brand that’s it..

I usually have nothing but good reviews for vans - these fit perfectly but the backs of the shoe are so hard they cut my ankles up terribly after wearing them. Many nights of trying to break them in with thick socks and still 6 weeks later I’m in absolute agony when wearing them, the backs are so rigid and sharp I am at a loss now, as soon as my ankles heel I try it again and It’s just as bad as the first time. Wouldn’t recommend these to my worst enemy, such a shame as I love the style and fit but the backs are just umbareable.

Got this as a present for someone who says they are making converse too narrow. Aware that he goes through skate shoes as other do plasters,thought I'd get these as they are 'old skool' in many respect. Very good quality shoes and he said they were the perfect width as he 'think's' he has wide feet (he doesn't, just size 12). They do look cool but I don't expect the white to say that way for long.
