I have read a couple of Jennifer’s books previously and loved them. Jennifer wrote my all-time favourite story, and no matter how much I read I can’t forget that one book. Vampires Descent showed her great writing style, and a talent in the way the four authors have come together to make the town something that you can pick up and imagine in each book, they all have the same basic details the library description, the bakery and town square. The great thing is that each author has placed their own spin on the story and give you an insight into their version of the world. Jennifer Snyder had dreaming about a past I can’t forget, a job well done overall I would say.
Mason has known Claire for a while, seen her around on one of her visits home to Willow Harbor, but never really taken the time to get to know her. As much as a time of sadness is not the time to fan flames, there really is no other better time.
I liked Mason and Claire. They were cute. Right from the off, the pair of them seemed to work well together. Reading them together just fit in so well with the story. I couldn't imagine it being any of the other characters from any of the books. These two were meant to be in the same story.
Thanks to Sarra Cannon for the ARC
