Two Scotsmen were in a bar...... It was a rare moment of inspiration, or genius, or madness or most likely all three. Amidst the dark confines of a Manhattan bar, two Scotsmen concocted the preposterous concept of a vodka so refined, so cool and so pure that it could only be created one way. First, it needed the unique skills of Scottish distillers. Then there was the insistence on using only Scottish malted barley and Scottish mountain water. Finally, no suitable method of distillation actually existed - an entirely new procedure had to be invented, and a decidedly un-traditional, quintuple micro-distillation technique had to be evolved, just for them. Valt is the first single malt Scottish vodka in the world.

The experience was most pleasing. Not a hint of sharp after taster; Valt smells of Whisky but undoubtedly tastes of an extremely pure and potent vodka - definitely not to be ruined with a mixer, and definitley best suited as a sipping or premium shots drink. Utterly smooth, has a vanilla creamy texture and is to be thoroughly enjoyed.....!
Either way it's worth a try!!!
We shared a few glasses and both agreed it is quite different from the usual Vodkas.
It has a lovely smooth Vanilla flavour which has been described as similar to ice cream.
I have never seen this in any off licence although apparently it can be bought in Scotland ,but my order came quickly and very well packaged ,
I would thoroughly recommend it and I as I said it makes a great present.
