    This is a favorite Hallmark movie, up there with those Hallmark Hall of Fame specials you used to see before there was a Hallmark movie channel. Yeah, I’m old, but that’s part of this story’s appeal for me; it takes place during the time I was a child and accurately portrays what life was like then, for me anyway. I read the book the movie was based on and much preferred the movie version this time.
    This DVD was a birthday gift for my son who usually shares my interests in movies, books and music. Still awaiting his feedback, but am confident that it will be positive.

    Heart warming movie about a WW2 veteran that returns home to nothing. His parents have died and he is left to wander the countryside fishing when he meets unknown to him angel named Hoke that tells to go to the next Valley. He goes and meets his destiny and future love.
