I've had thirteen books published in various genres, four of them on Kindle: my two Bruce and Bennett Crime Thrillers, The Rotting Spot, and The Operator; my comedy Austen novel Lydia Bennet's Blog; and my poetry of sex, death and pathology, All That Lives. I'm world-infamous for Quantum Sheep, spray-painting poetry onto live sheep to celebrate quantum theory, and I create science-themed poetry installations for exhibitions and commissions. I love to perform my work at readings and events live and in the media worldwide. I'm Writer in Residence at a Pathology Museum, a Physic Garden and a Brain Institute, have worked as a writer with pathologists, anatomists and neuroscientists, and have won many awards and prizes, including a Wellcome Trust Arts Award. I also write plays for stage and BBC radio. I'm a fanatical swimmer, and a born-again mathematician/physicist. You can find details of my books, and my personal appearances on my website valerielaws dot com (without the spaces!).
