I'm disappointed I paid money for this book and won't be buying anymore from her
How to cope after an abusive relationship ends. Sara is like a lost soul, but only for Harvey her Stepbrother, she would have given up. He cares for her, needs her..why!!! He is like a lost soul too. A Vulture picks at what is left of a lost soul, but in this case , Vulture pecks away all barriers to give hope and a light at the end of the tunnel. Loved Harvey and Sara ' s story. Sadie gave laughter to this couple who needed it. A bit different from the normal stepbrother story but I think better for it. Well done Emilia
Wow poor Sara! Thank goodness for Harvey.
The build up to Sara was good, the bad life with Eric, and what followed (without giving anything away). Then Harvey being there for her. But i feel a lot more could have been done for Harvey. The description of the book paints Harvey as a sort of bad guy, especially when it comes to the ladies - but we don't really see that, just hear Sara's views of what she believes him to be like, his idea of the perfect woman and an encounter in an elevator. Though this is still a good story, Emilia has done better.

But her mom and twin don't see what's happening. Her mom thinks image is everything and she should at and be a certain way. Her twin sister just dislike her for some reason that she could not put her finger on. It all comes down to her being jealous because Eric Sara's husband chose her and not her twin so she's feeling jealous even though she has her own husband and two kids. They have no idea what Sara goes through every day of her marriage and I don't think they care.
The one person who sees through the wall she has up is her stepbrother he's there for her and he's helping her pick up the pieces of her life. Including getting out of the rut that she's in after not only her husband but her mother's death.
But HEAs come when you least expect it. And these two are about to have their happily ever after together even in the midst of all that has happy and both of their lives faith has brought them together.
Poor Sara no one should have to endure what she has, but shis stronger than she gives herself credit for. Her sister is a piece of work and if my sister ever acted like that, she would be in a world of trouble.
This is a wonderful story, well written, full of surprises and great characters. It is however, not at all what I was expecting at first. The previews I had read lead to what I thought was something all together different. I became so involved with all the characters, it was like I was feeling what they were. This is the type of book that I enjoyed very much. It held my attention cover to cover and it even ended with a HEA (although I was beginning to wonder)!
