A precision cap placed on the epilator reduces the number of active discs for gentler epilation on sensitive areas such as underarms and bikini line. The row of rubber fingers on the cap massage and stretch the skin to reduce pain even further.
Two speed settings
A selection switch allows you to adjust the epilation speed for thin or thicker hairs.
This Satinelle epilator has two speeds for removing thin or thicker hairs and the BodyTotal system, featuring a precision cap to reduce the number of active discs for gentler epilation of sensitive areas. The rotating discs catch even the shortest hairs.

At first I thought that the pain would go away after a while, because I heard it gets less painful over time, but this is not true in my case. It might feel like it hurts less if you do it regularly, because you probably just get used to it, and there's less hair than the first time. But even after using it on and off for nearly a year, it still hurts like hell, my legs get red and blotchy afterwards and stay that way for more than 16 hours, sometimes over a day even. I guess it's just not the right thing for me. Good for the arms, but that's about it. Don't think I'll be buying another epilator - ever.
After over 10 years of hair removal experience I came to the conclusion that the best thing for thick hair + sensitive skin on legs is a quality men's shaver which provides much closer shave in one stroke than the junk they sell 'designed for women'.
My epilator arrived an hour ago and I have done my legs already. I was shocked by just how little it hurts! It isn't pain, not even discomfort really. It feels prickly, sometimes is a little itchy but there is not any pain to it!
Although it is a little noisy, this really is easy to use and does a great job! I don't think the massaging bit does anything but it doesn't matter anyway! I thought if I bought one I would hate it and then it would end up shoved at the back of a drawer, just a waste of money but no, not at all!
I am ready to throw away my razors! I haven't yet used it under my arms as I shaved them this morning but am not at all scared to use it on them as I can't see it being too painful now, not like I thought it might be anyway!
I really do recommend this epilator, don't be scared of them there really is no need to be!
SEPTEMBER 2011 - I am still using this epilator and still love it! I do use it under my arms if I am going somewhere special but not all the time as it is more painful than I want to go through regularly!
I use this about once every two to three weeks on my legs. The more I have used it the less it hurts. I find it tickles down by my ankles on outsides of my legs, it makes me giggle!
This really was an investment as it is so well used, I will certainly replace it when it gives up on me!
