good card and amazing value for money

280x from amd is an amazing value for money card capable of HD and 1440p gaming on most recent games. look for benchmarks and performance for pound compared to geforce. will not be able to max all settings but most modern games would still look great. all the haters will disagree but you will be hard pressed to find a better card at this price. look for used examples for even better value! maybe think abt a xfire setup?! cooling has been well done on this card which comes overclocked out of the box.

Great card. Slight problem with Coil Whine and I saw in the reviews that other people were having a problem with this. I've tried every method when trying to eliminate this problem and the thing I recommend would be to suck it up and live with it or get a silent case.

Since I got this card I am able to play every game I have at 1080p - 60fps. Although I ahve this problem with Titanfall and screen tearing. The screen tearing can be dealt with by setting your vsync to always on and having it triple buffered.

Titanfall I still don't have an answer to. Randomly it will go from 60-fps to 0-fps.

This is such a bargain. My five year old rig was getting a bit long in the tooth (AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 955 Black Edition, 12GB of RAM with an SSD and a Powercolor ATI Radeon HD 4890 Plus 1GB).

Plugged this baby in and I can play Titanfall and BF4 (only recently released games i've tried so far) at 2560x1440 all at max settings. Really quite unbelievable.

Highly recommended for the price!

It was £10 cheaper than a gtx 760 AND more powerful, haven't played anything it can't max out at 1080p, just an absolute beast of a card
