Its not that bad on older games.
My PC is hooked up to my big TV with a duel core 3.2 ghz 8gb ram 450w psu.
I surf from the lounge or watch 1080i/p movies.
This card does the job better, sharper and I found my pc loading faster with less cpu strain.
Stays cool and the drivers allow some OC. No fan = quiet.
I have not tried any games (DDR3 holds this one back) - would go for a 7770 at least for games.
Odd game at 720 would be ok at average gfx settings.
Catalyst Control Centre uses up a lot of memory, and slows down startup on an older machine. I recommend not installing it unless you need it.
I looked on AMD's website for updated drivers, but was directed to drivers for a different chipset (the Radeon R7 & R9).
At first I hadn't mounted the card in the socket properly, and this also revealed the poor design of AMD's installers. AMD Catalyst Install Manager, from the disc, and AMD Driver Downloader, from the website, both did nothing, but didn't give any indication that this was because no compatible card was found.
Has not let me down even with weeks of hardcore gaming. And I mean HARDCORE. GTA IV running with Medium/High settings with masses of mods preloaded onto the game files. The card is perfect for my likings and I won't need to think about upgrading as this is just great for all purposes.
tested with a computer running for a week non stop, never failed and never stoped working great value for a cheap GPU

Does exactly what it promises. Great improvement over built-in VGA. Easy to install and plays my older first-person shooters with good frame ratePublished on 10 Nov. 2013 by X

Does its job. Provides the necessary output for computers without integrated GPUs. As expected it runs silent and cool, and can even handle low end gaming at high frame rates.Published on 17 Jun. 2013 by Michael Graham
I bought this to update from my integrated graphics which would no longer perform with windows 8 and many graphics intensive programs. Read morePublished on 29 May 2013 by nev36
