Radeon VTX3D - Really Pleased

I hoped that it would work in 3D with my Vista 64-bit application and I was very pleasantly surprised when it displayed perfectly and it also worked the same with my Windows 7 Ultimate. Both machines are different Pentium Motherboards which can be a bit pedantic with hardware compatibility but this Video Card worked with both machines, installation each time was quick and simple.

I am very impressed with this product and rate it as Excellent value for money.

512 Mg but only 64 bits! Low profile and not worth the money. no improvements after all...

This what i've discovered after i've bought this card....
My old 128 mb was as faster as this one...because had 128 mb and 128 bits!...this VTX is a low profile, slow, choopy product with only 64 bits. It's a non quality product with 512 mb just to get some people buy and not see any real improvements...
I've just bought a ATI HD 3850 AGP with 512mb and 256 bits! to replace this VTX card and this is real talking. Highest resolution possible on screen, video editing in a old P4 3.0 and works perfect with HD video.
So...check bits for your graphic card before you buy a new one.

I bought this because my old Windows xp computer, that I recently upgraded to Windows 7, couldn't handle games with the old integrated graphics it came with.

The item arrived quickly, 4 days before the estimated delivery date, and was very well-packaged. I opened my computer up and inserted the card into the AGP slot. This was quite fiddly due to no fault of the card or it's manufacturer, but because my computer case was quite tight to fit anything into.

After a bit of worry that the card was too tall to fit in this pc, I managed to cram it in the right place without any damage.

I booted the computer up with the monitor plugged into the graphics card and it worked. It was in 800x600 resolution at this point though, but after easily installing the drivers and rebooting it was in the correct resolution.

It took a while to test the card because the other specifications of the PC make it very slow. Although, when finally launching Minecraft, I saw that it could support the graphics without any crashes. The lag was only due to the low RAM capacity and the single core CPU.

In conclusion, this was worth my money and made an old computer worth using for a few more years. Thanks to the manufacturer for making it available for AGP!

Good replacement AGP card

This card is a good replacement however i have had problems when it comes to using Nero Video.
Also locks up my computer 30 minutes into burning a DVD with Nero Video.
Customer support not helpful in fixing many problems as they do not get back to you once they say if is the software being used and not the card.
Maybe better off going for a newer model as i know if is the card at fault as Nero Video works and Burns perfectly every time the card is disabled.,

First disinstall old drivers, then disengage the old graphics card,so now place the new one,
plug the power 4pin connector to the card,
so install the drivers.
Finished.

I tried installing this card on my son's P4 system running Vista 32bit to replace a working ATI X1650. I downloaded the most recent legacy drivers from AMD and although they installed OK the PC blue screened with a message about the AGP driver being in a loop. I tried cleaning out the drivers, registry etc and reinstalling but no matter what I tried the PC always either froze or blue screened after installation.

Gave up and returned the card and have now upgraded the PC to a PCI-E board. Goodbye AGP.
