The gym itself is wicked and couldnt ask for much more for the price, although the top bar is starting to tilt to the side with pulleys on dues to stress of weight and a bit of use. I managed to put it together in around 2 and half hours on my own, although the instructions weren't all that clear and no parts acctually (Except Bolts) numbered so defining which part was which is left down to the eye and the tiny diagram drawings lol. Not too much trouble but a tiny bit more time consuming. Glad some parts didnt look the same is all i can say.

I was actually surprised with the quality of the gym set. Of course, it took a few hours to set up but it was definitely worth it. The only slight criticism I have is that the pull (string) gets weak after some months and it is quite difficult finding cheap replacement. That said, it had definitely saved me months of gym membership.

I have been using my new multi-gym for the last month and already the results are unbelievable. I did also buy the V-fit Single Hydraulic Rower which seems the perfect low impact warm up companion to go with the multi gym and I cannot praise the quality of both pieces of equipment enough.

I can only agree with the other reviews.

A good value multi-gym. It takes some time to assemble as the instructions are not the most clear that I have come across. A particular word of advice. You are advised not to tighten up all bolts until so instructed, and this is right at the end of the assembly procedure.

An exception to this is the bolts at the bottom of the weight stack - these should be tightened BEFORE you install the weights. If you wait until later in the process you will have to raise the weight stack to gain access to the bolts. The weight stack is heavy (over 30kgs) and I had to use wooden wedges to give me some limited access to the bolts.

My main concern is, however, that if you live in the Scottish Islands, you cannot buy this from Amazon - they do not deliver here. I bought mine from Tesco Direct: they do not seem to have any problem with delivering to remote locations. So get your act together Amazon and look after your far flung customers.

Originally wrote a partially negative review about this product; however after using for a while, I have completely changed my mind.

For the price, it is great. My favourite part is the bench press. The fact that there isnt a bar allows so many more excersises to be carried out, such as seated lifts both front and back facing - not suggested in the instructions.

Provides such an intense workout, and has really allowed me to up my training, and I have been doing so for years. Have noticed immeadiate results.

Would recommend this product to beginners and regular users alike.

Advice - dont tighten the pulleys too much. Allow them to move of their own free spin. This will allow even resistance.

I love this. It came quicker than expected. It took a few hours to get together but instructions simple enough. The longest part of putting it together was the pulleys. Instructions a bit confusing on that bit. Even the excercises that came with it were great. All round a great product.

Nice and sturdy once it's put together (but allow a whole afternoon and have a building partner!)
Pulley system could be better - we have had the cord come off unexpectedly once!
Silver coated poles that the weights are on is already rusting
A bit too heavy for an average fitness level female (my husband uses it more than me)
Def. built for a male (sizing of arm pads/handles etc. are for a wider shoulder-span/longer arms...and I'm not a tiny thing at 5ft8)

I couldn't believe that for significantly less than a year's gym membership I could get all of these exercises in one piece of apparatus. I built it by myself over a few evenings just following a page or two a night from the instructions which were reasonably easy to understand. There were just a couple of things I'd recommend. First, fully torque the nuts underneath where the weights will go as soon as you assemble that part as access to them later is very difficult. Second, the instructions state that everything should be tightened so that the bolts go fully through the lock nuts which is sensible enough. However, in some places when you do this they are so tight that they break the paint/powder coat on the frame which is a shame. Finally, you'll probably want to get v-bars, rope grips and a new lat bar with neutral handles for more variation on the lat pulldown exercises. All in all, though, this is very much a 5-star product. Highly recommended!
