Having been a fan of the album artwork of Hipgnosis since the Seventies and owning a number of books which concentrate on their art and design I thought I might need this book. It's the story of Hipgnosis minus too many illustrations so is best read in conjunction with one of the art books. It's full of entertaining anecdotes and written in a highly readable style which I found made me reluctant to put it down.
It will join those other artier titles in my library when I've read the final couple of chapters.
Definitely a good read for those like me who have an interest in the subject.
