He was born in England but has spent most of his adult life abroad as a professional foreigner, working in journalism, teaching and publishing. He is the author of the award-winning Ishtar and Tammuz. Christopher has degrees from Oxford and Edinburgh in Modern Languages and Applied Linguistics. He currently lives in Swirtzerland.
