About the Author

My first novel, UNTIL THE END OF THE WORLD, is a mixture of post-apocalyptic, zombie, women's and suspense fiction. I'm currently working on the sequel, AND AFTER. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, I now live in Oregon with my family and, in my opinion, not nearly enough supplies for the zombie apocalypse. But I'm working on it.

I felt that this was a predictable read and fairly unexciting. I didn't particularly enjoy any of the characters so was unbothered about the mild threat of peril against them. I finished the book and it was fine but I don't want to continue with the series. It just wasn't for me.

pooled ink Reviews:

Normally I really don’t like zombies. I know it’s popular right now but it’s just not for me. That being said these books are more about survival in an apocalyptic type scenario than about the zombies (a bioweapon/military super-soldier serum goes wrong yet again! Le sigh. Haha). I do enjoy a good survivalist story (and my Amazon wishlist is full of survival gear) so that’s what convinced me to give these books a try.

If you do like zombies (or zombie-like things) or reading about a group of people trying to survive the end of the world then definitely check this out and see if it might be for you. It surprised me, that’s for sure!

The characters were quite good. They all stood on their own with individual personalities and characteristics that contributed to the story. And as the reality of the situation grew grimmer and as the characters each began to accept it, the chapters sped by and became far more interesting and I gradually found myself falling into the story.

UNTIL THE END OF THE WORLD faces its fate with no fear in its eyes…well, maybe some fear. Without the promise of guaranteed survival this story jolts the adrenaline and shatters the heart with its exciting take on a zombie apocalypse.

Ive read lots of zombie books, some good some bad this is a great one, in the style of the walking dead this one focuses on the people rather than the zombies. I cant wait for the sequel

This book kept me up until 4am, really enjoyable read, will definitely be reading the sequel. Only lost a star due to me being more a fan of the zombie action whereas this one focussed more on journey to safety and the human aspects that are allowed to run free in world without the safety net of policing and human decency. Had some brilliant moments and great humour had me chuckling out loud at times, well worth the read.

Cassie lives in New York. She always had a pretty safe and secure life which ends when her parents die in a car crash. After the accident Cassie pulls herself back from the world. Wanting to be alone, she breaks up with her fiancé Adrian. The only thing that she manages is to get up and go to work every day. While time passes she finds herself dating Peter. Cassie knows she doesn't love him and that the breakup will come sooner of later.

When Cassie is at work reports are coming in about a deadly virus that is spreading all over the world. She, her best friend Penny, James and her best friend Nelly are taking no chances and take the advice of the president to go inside your house and don't come out. Cassie's parents were survivalists. They had everything prepared for the end of the world. Before they can go to Cassie's apartment they need to pick up Penny's sister first. Leaving behind the world they knew the group goes out to their safehouse, Cassie's cabin in the woods.

This is the first zombie book I've read this year and my oh my it does not disappoint. This story really kept me on the edge of my seat. I'm a big fan of the zombie genre and I love it when a story like this one comes together.

Sarah Lyons Fleming kept to the basics with the zombies. They are slow, respond to noise, they want to eat the living and they are very deadly while they are in large groups. I'm glad that the author stayed with this and didn't make them some sort of space monsters. The characters are fantastic! Everyone deals with the apocalypse in a different way. I loved it how the characters slowly move from who they were to who they need to be to survive.

This story will deliver it all to you. It made me scared, had me laugh, it made me sad and the ending made me cry. This is a series I will absolutely keep following and reading.

Friends Cassie, Nell and Penny along with Cassie's ex Peter and Penny's Ana have to escape New York, as a deadly virus spreads. Luckily Cassie's parents had been preppers, but in this new world even that isn't enough.

This book has so much heart, a world has been created by the author that is full of characters that you just root for. This is a novel about friendship, love and overcoming the odds. Many post-apocalyptic novels are dark, heavy reads, and whilst I enjoy those greatly, this book is a breath of fresh air. Fantastic 5 star read.

If you're looking for horror, fear and terror of which this genre should be about prepare to find it omitted. If you want to sit back and enjoy the zombie apocalypse, for god's sake look elsewhere.

Although promising to start with the novel soon loses all relevance as an apocalyptic tale as we're greeted to 2 pages of actual story and 10 pages of emotional garbage for each of those 2 relevant story progression parts. These genres don't mix well at all. The author descend into delusional fairytale the further into the novel I got. The world is falling apart, the dead have risen and turned on the living, chaos and anarchy reign yet we get some weird, 10yo playground fantasy of happiness and joy, hugs and warm smiles...Ermm, what? This kills any escapism that you're reading about the end of humanity. While children are being raped, men and women mutilated our 'heroine' goes super stalker dreaming of some guy she ditched, tender moments and happy smiles around the dinner table. Its like she's not actually a part of reality, impossible to take her serious.

Please in future write a story and not some playground fantasy.
