Anyway I digress! Ripp takes what he wants, when he wants it and hasn't met a challenge too great for him until he meets Vee! The most beautiful woman he has ever seen and she basically spins his world on its axis. She's no push over either! She's one tough cookie, which just adds to his challenge. I loved their chemistry and I loved his honesty, and I totally loved the first time they got together in the bedroom! It just felt real! No need to follow the rules and prolong it eh!??!
The only downside I can say about this book is that it has kind of a cliff hanger ending!! However I'm assured by the author through Facebook (so it must be true) that I don't have long to wait for the next one!!! Which pleases me. There are also other little things throughout the story that are mentioned, the deal with Austin for example, that I can only hope are concluded in the next installment.
So in conclusion, if you want a really HOT read about an alpha male fighter who is RIPPED! And also incidentally creates his own vocabulary! Then this read is 100% for you xxx
Loved it and can't wait for the next book!! In fact I'm in pizz with this book ;p
I'm quite cautious about writing reviews. If something is amazing then I'll be the first to stand up there and say so but if something is just OK to me then I tend to be careful of writing a review that might sway someone else from trying it. However, this is the first time I have ever read a book that I felt was awful enough to lead me to write a low review. The first time I've ever though of contacting Amazon and asking if they'd sent the right file or maybe priced it wrongly.
What was good about the book? The prologue I loved which lead me onto buying after reading the sample. It talks of a character that you can relate to who finds herself in an awful situation.
What was bad about the book? Everything else!!
The book was very short but still leaves you with a cliff-hanger despite never really feeling like it got started.
The promising prologue was actually about a character who didn't make an appearance or mention in the book until the epilogue and even though her name appears she's there without any dialogue at all.
The other characters just didn't seem to have a 'reason'. I suppose what I mean by that is that usually what I love is when an author invests in the characters and you find out exactly what drives them and what made them the person they are. That leads you to then be able to relate to them and either love or hate them. That just didn't happen. They were just there with nothing particular interesting about the way they were. Nothing to find out about why they were drawn to each other.Read more ›
Ripp is a no nonsense, laid back, protective, strong, loyal and a funny guy. I laughed out loud a lot, he certainly has a way with words and the words he makes up himself, hilarious!
There is Unicorn masks, Bill Clinton masks, motorcycles, fighting, the lot! Ripp really is a character that you need to meet in order to understand all the above! lol
By his own admission Ripp has never settled down to one woman. That is until he meets Vee. She has something that keeps his attention and calls to him on a completely different level to any woman before her.
Ripp and Vee start off a relationshp, she wants someone more dominant and Ripp is just the man for her. For the first time in his life he is happy and content with everything in his life and is in love, or Pizz as he likes to call it!
I really liked Ripp's personality coming through, his laid back way but also very protective when he needs to be and very loyal to those that matter! He is a very funny guy, i loved his humour and his 'madness' lol.
At first the prologue didn't make sense but once you get to the end of the book it all makes sense! I didn't see it coming at all! Scott has left it on a cliffhanger here which I didn't anticipate but hopefully the next book will be along soon!!
Highly recommend this boook! Scott has done it again and I loved reading about Ripp!!

And a little bit boring. Couldn't get into the characters at all. That could be just me, though. The main character was an unappealing mix of immature and rudeness.Published 20 months ago by mali

I'm not sure what happened to this book. It had so much promise and an occasional brilliant storyline, but it never made it to a story. I wouldn't recommend it.Published on 22 April 2014 by AMR1980
