Once again I downloaded the first of this series free from Amazon, and once again could not put any of them down. Was not sure about getting the 4th about Jem Jones didn't like him much in the first 3 books, but as with the others it was really good and found it hard to put down. I hope there is a 5th about Bryn to complete the band!

The guys from Blue Phoenix are back and this time it is Liam that in the spotlight.
Home is where we all run to hide and heel and being a rock star doesn’t mean that you don’t need to be close to your loved ones when you feel like you have been kicked in the gut!
Liam has done just that after seeing the pictures of his finance and another man.
Back in Wales and surrounded by his family, he is taking a breather from the drama of the despicable Honey behind him.
Cerys is Liam’s sisters best friend and has known Liam for many years, the grew up hanging out together but that is where the similarity in life choices stops. Because while Liam headed out into the world to make his mark on the music industry, Cerys stayed in Wales and now is the proud single mum to an amazing four years old.
A genuine guy, Liam has never been affected by all the nonsense that surrounds the band and his laid back demeanour was enough to make me smile when I was reading his story.
I hated Honey in book two of the series and in away although it was hard on Liam I was actually glad that in this book he finally got to see her for what she was.
Liam and Cerys were a great story that took its time to evolve.
It broached subject that were realistic and cohesive. They got to learn about each other, warts and all and to consider their options and all of the circumstances that surrounded their relationship. And for once Cerys got to see that when this man made her a promise she could believe that he was never going to renege on it.
The story is not all plain sailing, life and others get in their way – namely Cerys’s ex but Liam and Cerys had a bond that was tangible and a pull that was unbreakable.
I loved this book, it was great to catch up with Sky and Dylan and the other band members.
I can’t wait to see what is lined for the other guys

Although I enjoyed this latest blue Phoenix book I could have been doing with Liam being a bit more of your typical bad boy, he really was to sweet. I found it hard to really believe the connection between Ceres and him.

I do however look forward to the story of jem and ruby which I think will make up for it.

Another great book from Lisa Swallow...these Blue Phoenix boys are becoming addictive!

This has a slightly older feel to the Dylan / Sky books as the main female character, Cerys, has a small child and so her angst is a little less self-centred than can often be the case in New Adult. Liam is a genuine, lovely guy and you end up rooting for the two of them to find happiness together. As always, I appreciated the British settings (with a little bit of Malibu thrown in) and the references to British culture that make me smile due to their familiarity.

There were a few hints into future Blue Phoenix books as well :-)

Liam is a really sweet guy. He falls in love with single Mum Cerys. There are some problems along the way. Although Liam is a rock star, the band are now on a break but I was still surprised there was no paparazzi interest in this couple like with Dylan and Sky from the first two books in the series.

The problems facing Liam and Cerys are more to do with her ex. There is not much angst. It was a sweet love story with a sweet hero and heroine. A nice read. I like this author's writing style.

I love the way this author writes where she doesn't take ages for the two main characters in her books to get together and then it's all passion, love, angst and drama from then on! The Blue Phoenix Series is about the members of the band, 4 of them in total, and this is the story of one of them Liam. The first 2 stories were about Dylan and now it's Liam's turn and he is very different to the lead singer of the band Dylan who everyone loves. Liam is the quieter one and is one of the guitarists and this story tells of how he meets up with someone from his childhood called Cerys. It's very similar to the story about Dylan and Sky, with them both meeting normal down to earth girls who are not in the limelight at all. But at the same time the story of Liam and Cerys is very different. She has a daughter of her own from her relationship with Craig which has broken down and causes her and Liam a lot of problems throughout the book. These books are not slow paced in any way but at the some time a lot of detail is put into them which I love. So for me this is another 5 star rating. I'm now going onto read about Jem and his relationship with Ruby. I like the fact too that the books follow on and we get to know about all the different characters that eventually have their own story to tell.
