Not many people know who Jack Lukeman is and lets face it, it's a crime! He's just waiting to hit the big time and if you can see him in concert, it's a riot! After producing a gem with his Metropolis Blues album, along comes Universe - equally as good. Who does Jack L sound like? Here's the beauty - it's hard to say, he's got his own individual sound. One of those voices that's distinctive - a vocal range that would put Mick Hucknell to shame, a variety of sounds and songs that can't be classified into any one genre - just say they're all catchy, you'll find yourself humming along. Nothing too complicated about his lyrics or anything, just ordinary things that most people can relate to but other things... well, you'd be afraid to ask him where the hell he got it from! Very catchy, you'll play it to death.

If you've not discovered Jack L yet, you're missing out. The velvet voice and stunning range are still here but Jack's moving on from metropolis blues and pushing his own boundaries. Gone the Jacques Brel covers and in with the Dave Constantine songwriting partnership. Still just a little bit naughty but with love songs to die for...this is Jack L...and you've gone without long enough.
