I've tried quite a few different re-chargeable batteries and Uniross are the only ones that live up to the hype.
If you are using them in a DSLR then don't use less than 2700mAh.
Forget the rest.Stick with Uniross.

I brought this to upgrade from my older (3 years old) uniross 2300mah batterys and i wasn't dissapointed. They last a lot longer in both my Garmin GPS and my fujifilm S5800 digital camera. At this price I will be ordering for a 2nd set as back ups.

I have previously bought Uniross batteries (silver body) which have all performrd well.
I bought these newer 2700mAh (blue body)and found that they leaked electrolyte when they were approaching full charge. My supplier exchanged them, but the second set were the same.
If you buy these batteries, keep an eye on them while they are (fast) charging. They damaged my expensive charger with hot electrolyte, fortuneately I could repair it.
I really am surprised to have had this problem as Uniross is a top marque.

UPDATE EXTRA: I have recently had a third set which got very hot. I stopped the charge before they leaked. I discharged them completely with torches (took 4.5 hours). I fast recharged them and they fully charged and stayed cool. Maybe the initial charge should be slow or partial fast?

Anyway, now they work.

Uniross 4 x AA 2700mAh Performance Batteries]
[[ASIN:B0013HFLPI Uniross 1 Hour Charger + 4 x AA 2700mAh Performance Batteries

I purchased these batteries and charger about 9 months ago, and so far I'm very pleased with the quality of these products. I initially purchased the 2700mAH Uniross batteries for my Wii Board and Wii Remote controls and so far I have not had any problems with the batteries or charger. The batteries charges up within an hour and I am still using these batteries I have bought 9 months ago for my Wii. I was looking into purchasing an additional three packets for use in wireless mouse and other electronic equipment. However the delivery cost of £13.17 have deterred me to proceed with the transaction. Instead I have located another seller based in London who delivers free of charge if you purchase over £10.00 & orders placed before 5pm Mon - Fri are dispatched the same day. I ended up buying 3 packets of 4x 2700mAH for £9.99 each and paid a total of £29.97, no delivery cost, no hidden extras! For that price I will recommend looking further than Amazon for some products.

Bought these batteries to replaced some aged rechargeable AAs which I'd been using in my cycle lights for a few years and which were starting to not hold a charge. I was amazed to discover that they were too large a diameter to fit into my rear light, admittedly it's a tight fit, but I've never had this problem with any other battery and can only be a result of the batteries not conforming to the specified sizes for AAs. I had to buy some other batteries and used the Uniross in a remote control (in which they only just fitted). After a few months however they had leaked acid over the contacts of this.

Very disappointed, likely these were from a bad batch, but you expect better quality control from a big name and it's put me off buying anything else made by Uniross.

Six pack loaded into the battery grip of a Canon 500D performed flawlessly.
Sustained a full days work driving lenses all day capuring hundreds of stills and 2 hours+ video.
Outperformed CANON original powercell, which drained completely needing a full recharge by lunchtime. The UNIROSS didn't run out at all and still had current left by the end of the day.

Easily fast enough reaction to address fast-frame demands of motor driving the camera and the Speedlite flashgun.
Quite simply superb performance and a better solution than the original CANON powercell. May not recharge as quickly but store so much power you would not need to plug in again until you have finished the job.

If you could last a long as these, your wife would rent you out to all her friends then retire as a Millionaire!

My Uniross 2700mAh batteries are the earlier silver with black ends and red lettering type. I originally bought them for use in a hand held GPS for which the instructions said use this capacity of battery. Similar instructions were given with high power LED bicycle headlamps. I found that this size of rechargeable AA did not hold it's bigger charge long enough to be of any extra benefit. The Hybrio 2100mAh batteries, also by Uniross, have proved far superior and hold their charge for months giving better performance. Now the 2700mAh batteries, which were relegated to small portable radio use, are refusing, suddenly, to charge after nothing like the number of specified discharge/charging cycles. My oldest Hybrio batteries are still performing well after years of use, so the high capacity cells will be dumped in the recycling bin and replaced with Uniross's more Eco friendly product. My experience seems to indicate that big numbers on the cell casing are no guarantee of longer running time unless you take them straight out of the charger and use them immediately. This would mean carrying a set of long lived Alkalines for emergency spares, as this would be the only trustworthy guarantee of a fully charged back up.
