    Almost fully charged on arrival, I simply topped it up, took about 20 minutes

    Easy to connect/configure

    Bought as a UPS for a weather station gateway unit (Ecowitt GW1000 - works on an RF signal from met sensors and gateways to WiFi) that draws 80mA. tested it and it lasted 61 hours. When I switched the power back on it immediately powered the device and commenced charging

    I looked at other options like passthrough charging powerbanks but this is a genuine UPS and suits my needs

    Right, so it failed almost exactly one year after it arrived - i don't know exactly when but the battery power ran out on the anniversary, presumably the power supply failed 2 or 3 days earlier (with my application it lasted about 60 hours when I tested it). I was pretty miffed but I contacted the seller MISSCAT through amazon. I had a response within 24 hours, an apology and a promise that they would send a replacement.. A day or so, another message saying was all arranged and would be delivered on 6 Feb by Amazon. It actually arrived today on the 4th. Outstanding service, so kudos to them. The device is very good, bit surprised it failed so quickly as it seems to be high quality, hopefully the replacement will last at least as long!!

    I wanted a UPS for our Plusnet router as we do get power going off from time to time. The router also drops out several times a day even when we don't get a trip on the mains and this can also be down to interference on the power supply / ring main.

    Having the internet dropping out and taking several mins for it to establish a connection can be a right pain when we have 2 kids at home on google classroom (using iPads) and myself who also works from home on a laptop.

    Since installing this little UPS, all our dropouts on the Internet have gone away.

    The item is a little on the expensive side, but it is well made and works well, It has a range of adaptors and one of them fits the Plusnet Hub fine. Instructions are rather small and not the best English, but this is very minor, still worthy of 5 stars.

    Easy to install. Powers bt smart hub 2 when no mains. Annoyingly seems to drop power off momentarily while mains is connected at odd intervals every few hours, causing hub to reboot. Otherwise ok.

    First impressions, nice product easy to use and as long as you need an output (or two) at 9 or 12v then with the range of adaptors it comes well prepared. Mine happened to be fully charged on receipt if the LEDs are to be trusted ... haven’t tried the battery longevity as it’s still new but for a first impression great.

    Ps, would have bought another for a different room but no white ones left ... hoping they restock!

    We've had problems with our broadband connection dropping for a number of years and the frustration of frequent brief power cuts cutting the connection until the router restarted. We're in a rural location but the power supply is obviously even less stable than we think because where the router would show maybe 10, 20, 30 cuts per day that's dropped to just 1 or 2 per month - this little UPS is clearly smoothing out power fluctuations and making the connection more stable.

    We haven't had any long-lasting power cuts for some time, but I have tested it by switching it off at the plug. I estimated it would power the Vodafone router for 7-8 hours which is probably longer than the laptop battery would last but, with two of us regularly working from home, this should keep us both online during any power cuts.

    Well worth the money and very happy to recommend.
