Overall I would happily recommend this story to others, and don't be put off with all the connections to the previous series, if you've not read them. As its really not necessary but I can guarantee by the end you will want to know all about the men of Corps Security, and not be disappointed.
I must admit I am always hesitant to read a off-spring spin-off series but I really enjoyed spending time with Dani and Cohen. I guess some people may have had difficulty witnessing little Cohen all grown up but not me, his character performance was epic!
Dani was loveable as well. She went through hell to find her HEA and yes we could probably all guess who was the cause of her nightmares but it didn't detract from the story. I've got to ask though, where the hell did Chance go?
Ok, some of the sex scenes were a little unbelievable and far-fetched but hey, most are in smut books. They do not portray everyday life and if they did would we still read them?
For me Dani didn’t come across as immature in the Audible book but I suspect she may have done in the paperback/ebook but still, her life choices were mature so again, I can’t see what people didn’t like. Yes, Cohen was an alpha on steroids but he certainly worked his magic on me.
Overall, another well written book that was an easy read with some suspense but this wasn’t drawn out to the detriment of the story. I didn’t have any preconceived expectations of this book and that probably helped with my enjoyment of the story. Yep, I’ll definitely read on….
Absolutely loved grown up Cohen, love the cap crusading moments as we start on Cohen and Dani's romance.
They were so great together, they 'got' each other, even though they pussy footed around each other for years.
Cohen followed in his papa's footsteps and became a Marine, a real life Hero.
The other 'kids' have all been good friends which is lovely to see. Nate made me laugh loudly, especially waking Dani up!
I liked the prologue with Axel, the over protective and over bearing parent; scaring all prospective boyfriends away, it seemed Cohen and Dani were destined to be together, he was there for her every step of the way for every teenage milestone especially her prom.
Ooh; Sway! don't you just love him, only Sway would have a reality show being filmed in his salon. Nice to know he is still as crazy as ever and all his meddling.
Chance, seems a good guy, hopefully we'll get more of him, obviously he has a few PTSD problems, but he comes across as a good boy!
Cohen and Dani were explosive, once the got together, I thought I needed an extra fan, so hot.
I was not expecting Dani to have all that Drama surrounding her, and as scary as it was she handled it like a pro, OK OK her over protective family were there for her, but she dealt with everything really well, even without Chen being there.
I was so relieved when Cohen said it was his last tour, he was certainly an-upstanding man; and felt so sorry for him blaming himself for not being able to protect Dani, and of course poor Chance when everything went down.
Loved getting more of the original CS boys plus the addition of the new characters, a great combination.
You could tell Cohen loved Dani with the strength of a 100 elephants, and she loved him as as fierce. I loved the surprises we encountered along with way, and so pleased with how it all turned out.
I think we all fell a bit in love with the little kid who ran around wearing capes and talking about weiners with earrings. Now that little boy is all grown up.
Dani Reid has been in love with Cohen Cage for as long as she can remember, He's been in her life since she was born, His sisters are amongst her closest friends all who are all very well aware of her feelings towards Cohen. Dani is all grown up and now it's time to escape the confines of her over protective father Axel Reid (Who could kill any man who dares comes near his precious daughter with looks alone.) And make Cohen her's once and for all.
Of course life has a habbit of throwing a spanner or two into the works of any great story and Dani' and Cohen's isn't any different. Can Dani convince her father Cohen really is the man for her, Will Axel trust Cohen around his daughter now he knows his thoughts aren't entirly clean. What happens when seperation forces them apart for months on end. Can they cope? or are these two fated to be together.
If you thought Cohen's father Greg Cage was hot with his piercings and dirty mouth then you haven't yet met his son. This boy is so HOT he'll have your panties melting in no time!. The chemistry between these two is so hot it's off the scale. He's hot and he loves his girl but just how much?
I promise this book will not disappoint you.
Please Harper we need more from this fabulous family.

Took me awhile to get in to it. And maybe it's just because my name is Danielle but after reading "Dani-girl" one too many times, I couldn't stop cringing.Published 3 months ago by Danielle
