This was a great series wrapped up in one book. I didn't know what to expect when I started this series but I really enjoyed reading about the bonds between everyone and seeing all the different and versatile relationships develop. As with any series there was a few books I enjoyed more but I still read every book and enjoyed each one in its separate own way.
A series filled full of romance, drama and the right amount of hotness for anyone. I look forward to more from this author.

This heart-warmingly nemorable series will definitely become your favorite!
The characters reoccur in every story yet stay separate and everything always falls back to the family living and protecting one another. They aren't perfect but that is one of the best pets of this series. That and the amount of time the patriarchs decide to become intimate with each other.
Reading through the lives and lives of AJ, MJ, JC, and Porter, would not have been as cohesive without first understanding Christian and Gabe. And for that I will say that, that right there is why this is evening soap worthy.
Did it have lag in some places, yes. This is all first person, so yes time the characters stayed in their heads did become a little annoying. There were some places the characters all sounded exactly the same. I would expect this of the triplets, but it was super noticeable when the love interests became involved. It is a pet peeve of mine that the characters not all blend into one person as a series moves forward. This series for all its amazingness, boardered that concept just a bit. I am glad that it wasn't too much though I think I would have set this whole thing aside.
Very nice long involved read. I'd recommend this author to a friend.
I loved the dynamic of the family in this story. However, I have to be honest and say this book started off slow but it was a story that kept me interested and wanting to know more, and I finished the book in one day. There were definitely a few parts within this story that took me by surprise. No matter how flawed the characters were, I enjoyed all of them and I look forward to getting more of Gabriel (Gabe), Christian (Chris), Ainsley (AJ or Nine), Jacob (JC), Matthew (MJ), Mason and even more of Porter’s (PK) story. The story goes from past to present and there are sensitive subject matters that might be triggers for some such as fetal death, so beware if you prefer to stay away from books containing that matter.
I enjoyed the first book in the series, but I loved this one even more. This book gives us Nine and Mason's story. We see how Mason came to be so close to the Colthurst - Decker family, find out what his job is and watch as he fights so hard against what he feels for Nine as he struggles with the past and refusing to be like his parents. Porter believes AJ is his and he doesn't plan on letting her go without a fight but his past comes back with a vengeance and he's in for the fight of his life; he might make it out alive if anyone cares enough. Nine believes in fairytales and wants the type of love her parents have and is willing to risk another heartbreak to get it. However, the journey to get it is worth a few tears and another heartbreak in order for her to get her HEA.
Uncharted was a good read. This book gives us Jacob (Jace) and Cypriana (Pria) story. They met in college; Jace made promises to Pria then life took them in different directions. Years later they meet again but life has scarred them both in different ways. Jace made promises to someone and in order to keep those promises, he has to keep Pria at a distance. If Jace wants Pria in his future, he has to break the promises he made to Norah. Norah asked for something huge and in return kept a huge secret that affected Jace but Jace has to realize that what Norah asked for is impossible if he wants to live life and be happy. Once again I enjoyed having all of the family in this book.
This book definitely felt like it had more drama, up and down, break up to make up moments, than the previous books in the series. I love how Matthew loved and was comfortable with who he is. I understand that Tristan’s family played a major part in the man he became, thinking what he was doing and feeling was wrong and unbecoming of a man but I COULD NOT wait for him to accept who he was as a person and just tell them to bugger off. I hated how he constantly let his family destroy what he had and degrade him, his sister was no better than his mother. Thea grew up in the spotlight and had her own destructive past to deal with and that responsibility fell on how her childhood was and what she had to do. I’m glad she took the time to find herself but with everything she was going through I wondered how things would turn out with the profession she was pursing. I was so happy when everyone got themselves together but I felt like it ended too soon. I was just enjoying the “completeness” of the trio and their happiness and I felt like after all that drama and everything they went through to make it where they were now, I wanted to enjoy their happiness a little more. However, PORTER’S BACK!!!! Yes, Kendrick shows up at the end of this book and I can’t wait to see what happens with him.
How do you begin to write a review for a book when you feel you have no words to describe how amazing the story was; how amazing the series was a whole? Well I’ll try my best…..Undefeated was an amazingly, sweet and romantic second chance at redemption, life and forgiveness love story. This book felt bittersweet. I’ve wanted all of the characters in this story to have their HEA’s since I first read about them, and now I feel as if I have closure to everyone’s story. I’m more that satisfied with the ending of this book and if this is truly the end of the series, or if there is still more to come I’m satisfied either way. I didn’t know what to expect from this author when I first started this series, but after reading all five books in this series I’m excited to see how she tops this one. There were some unconventional relationships in this series but they were done in the best ways. I highly recommend this series to all romance readers who are willing to go into this series with an open mind and experience the most amazing and unconditional love between family, not only through blood but through bonds.
