Unexpected – This is a cute story and the writing flows well. Erin is a school teacher who walks in on her boyfriend of 5 years having sex with his secretary. Her best friend Noelle decides to take her out to a club to have some fun where she meets Walker. After having a one-night stand she finds out a few weeks later she is pregnant. She is unable to locate Walker until the start of the school year and finds out he is a new teacher at her school. . The story becomes a little unrealistic once she tells him she is pregnant. He is happy and excited and in insta-love with her and the baby. He turns into the prefect boyfriend, a little to perfect. Everyone should have a Walker in their life!
Their relationship grows as they go through the pregnancy with a few bumps in the road. Erin gets a little revenge on the ex and the woman he was messing around with who turns out to be Walkers cousin. Walker proposes over New Years and a couple of week later their daughter arrives a few weeks early. There is a nice epilogue from Walkers point of view at Savannah’s one-year birthday party where we find out she will be a big sister and Noelle is now pregnant. 4 Stars
Undone - This is Noelle and Trents story. Noelle is Trents sister Erin’s best friend from book one of this series. Trents girlfriend Alex left him and their son 2 years ago and has helped with is care. He has strong feelings for Noelle but has never acted on them until she starts seeing his neighbor Jace. She has always been attracted to him but didn’t want to risk her friendship with Erin and her family if something went wrong.
There is somewhat of a triangle going on in this book between the three of them with Trent telling Jace to stay away from her even though they only just met he doesn’t back off. She sleeps with Trent however Alex comes back onto the scene and moves in with Trent. That makes her decision to give Jace a chance at a relationship. Alex has a secret but Trent won’t give anyone a reason why she is back and living with him.
Lots of back and forth drama until they finally pull it together after Erin and Walkers wedding. Gets a little tedious and I skimmed a lot at the end. They become engaged and then are married 2 weeks later. The book ends on the birth of their daughter 8 months later and we also find out that Erin and Walker have twins. 3.5 Stars
Undeniable - This is Hadley, Noelle’s friend and Ryder’s story. This is a second chance story as Hadley and Ryder were in love in high school before she suddenly left not telling him why or where she went. He runs into her again when she is out to dinner with Erin and Noelle. There seems to be a huge misunderstanding between them that kept them apart. Hadley has been with Braden for 2 years however she feels they are drifting apart and he starts acting distant. Ryder is there to pick up the pieces when she finally splits with Braden. They take their time with each other and finally deal with the past and the misunderstandings. Not a whole lot of drama in this book. A year later Ryder proposes and they get their HEA. 4 Stars.
Unexpected : Walker will be to die for! His love for Erin literally runs off on you and will leaving you melting by his words alone. And Erin seems to do exactly that. Even with the predicament they left each other in because of one night of letting go and having a bit of hot steamy fun.
Undone: Noelle's spunk and fire will have you in bits and loving the hell out of her ocd, super fun, spit fire mouth self. With two sexy men wanting her -what woman wouldn't want that-she seems to find herself in a bind and fight of love and lust. Both men will have you entertained alone in this book and having Noelle's spicy self completes this.
Undeniable : Hadleys had it hard with her heart broken and not willing to fully give herself to another because of this. Then the one who broke it comes back with a vengeance. He's sexy as ever and how could you not melt into a puddle with his words and ways. Hadley finds herself doing just that. With the twists in the book, the past creeping up, and just having Ryder along in there, it will leave you amazed, surprised, and having " didn't see that coming" moments.
Time to go get hooked!!!
Book 1 - Unexpected was funny and sweet. Erin and Walker were great together, I wish there was more about this couple.
Book 2 - Undone really gave a great look at how crazy and cool Noelle is and how to deal with a crazy situation that could really happen in life.
Book 3 - Undeniable is all about second chances and finding your way in life!! Loved Ryder most of the time but he gave me doubts at some point. Hadley was a great addition to the crew of ladies that were already introduce in this series.
I really enjoyed all three books; however, I did feel a bit of a rushed ending to book 3. Amy Marie started out with a great formula of introducing the next couple in the previous book with a crazy situation or two that makes you want to know more about that couple. In book 1 & 2 she got to that "cliffhanger" situation pretty quickly; however, in book 3 it did not happen until the end and then the ending felt really rushed whereas book 1 & 2 just flowed into the natural progression of the situation. Overall, I still really enjoyed this series and can't wait for more books and wouldn't be mad if the Amy Marie decided to go back and give us more about the other couples!!
Give this one a try! You won't regret it!
