Embry has just started Law School with her best friend Morgan and has returned home for the first time since running away from her abusive ex-boyfriend.
Looking for an uncomplicated school life and one that will not involve a love interest, Embry sets out to focus all of her attentions on her studies that is until she runs into Luke Brody. Blindsided by his good looks and beautiful eyes, Embry knows that her resolve has been weakened but not knowing who this handsome man is, presumes that she will never see him again. A night out in a club soon answers Embry's question though as she see's Luke across the room. It's not long before Luke's heart calls out to Embry and together the pair start to realise that they can't hide their feelings from each other.
As their romance grows though so do Embry and Luke's problems and what starts off as an innocent relationship, albeit one which is destined to be life changing, it soon turns sour and becomes a complicated mess filled with hidden agendas, deceit and heartbreak.
This was a really enjoyable story. I was aware of the cliffie at the end and the good news is that the next book, Unbroken, is on it's way but after the way Undone ended I suspect Unbroken will be a painful and emotional read.
RE Hunter is a new author to me and I thoroughly enjoyed this contemporary romance. I'm not normally a lover of sweet romances with emotional twists in the storyline but I really did enjoy this one. It was extremely well written and carefully edited and the story really flowed. My only teeny-tiny criticism is that it seemed a little long and drawn out at times but saying that, I wasn't tempted to skips paragraphs etc.

That wasn't a problem in this story as law student Embry is 25 and her law professor is 31. She believes the gorgeous attorney Luke has his own practice as they begin dating. She only learns the truth when her usual professor falls sick. Cue the smouldering glances over the podium and much naughtiness pressed up against her professor's study door.
The romance and chemistry between them is fantastic, and while a couple of things bugged me about the information they keep from one another, I can see that it was important for the
story and the reasons for it were fairly plausible. The banter between them is good too, they felt like a real couple.
The smut was pretty stellar too, no complaints there.
Irritatingly, it ends on a huge cliffhanger, you don't get the full story in this, but I'm invested enough in this couple to want to read on.
This was a really easy read that I couldn't put down once I started. Recommended.
This is the debut novel by RE Hunter and the first book in the Disclosure series.
Moving on from an abusive relationship, Embry Jacobs is back in New York attending law school with her best friend Morgan. It’s here she literally bumps into a gorgeous man in the halls, with an intensity that overwhelms her but fate was definitely sending her a message that day.
Luke Brody is also making a fresh start from his hometown in Georgia and from his first contact with Embry he cannot help but pursue her. From the initial tentative steps they take, a relationship begins to blossom but then something happens that has the power to blow all they have built away.
This was a little slow for me at first and I have never understood the ‘conduct’ issue that I have read in similar storylines, I can’t really explain without divulging a spoiler in the story but why would it matter seeing as she is twenty-five and he is thirty-one? Hmm anyhow I liked the storyline as it gradually took up pace until I was hit with the ending – cliffy time! Aggh. Now I know cliff-hangers can be a good thing but when I am reading a book with one I need the next book immediately, but with this one I’m just going to have to wait for Unbroken (expected release date is August 2014)
A good start to a new series with likable characters, especially Morgan who was a good comedy aspect to the book. I liked the mystery surrounding some of the characters which gave the read a little more depth, especially Jer – yes more to be said about him me thinks.
Overall a good read and although not an original plotline it was well executed and gave it that slightly different angle in order to entice the reader. I shall look forward to this developing further as the series continues.
