I really don't know what the other reviewers were reading but it couldn't be the same book as me. This is utter rubbish. It's badly written with poor, one-dimensional characters that aren't even remotely believable or likeable. This books only redeeming feature is that it was free and I therefore didn't pay for the misfortune of reading it.

There's no holding back from the 1st page you are taken straight to Ash's bed & they are burning up the sheets.
Ash Black is a fitting name for the middle Kavanaugh brother he is the black sheep of the family who rebelled against following in his fathers foot steps of working at the family business. Ash is a sexy hot bad boy rocker partying it up with drugs, drink & has a revolving door for all the women that he sleeps with. His partying lifestyle gets him into a major publicity scandal being hounded by press he hides out in a library. That's where the games begin again when he finds Ana the children's librarian. He needs to look good to the public again and makes her a deal for one month only and to publicly break his heart.
Ana is honest, quiet & keeps herself out of trouble she is from a prime & proper but loving family they would love for her to be a great pianist but she chooses to be a children's librarian. She loves her job but the library is in much need of some TLC & a cash boost to keep it from closing down. She's sitting quietly at her desk when Ash Black from her favourite band The Blacklist has a close encounter at her feet whilst he tries to escape the paps. She's insanely attracted to Ash's charm agrees to a date. But then discovers he wants to make P.R deal with her.
Has she made a deal with the devil?
Is Ash's deal going to back fire on him?
This book ends on a cliffhanger so I am so glad I am reading the trilogy straight through or I would probably be swearing up a storm right now.

Jeeeeepers, this was hot from page one!! I was caught hook line and sinker and Callie reeled me right in!
This is my first taste of Callie Harpers writing and I want more!
Ash Black - rock star (erm hot rock star I might add) has been set up and his reputation is in ruins. What can he do to restore the publics adoration for him?
Anika - librarian/piano teacher is one of the nicest people. I couldn't help but like her. Whilst at work one day she has a brief encounter with Ash Black as he's trying to escape the paparazzi but what does this lead to?
I found myself chuckling at Ash's way with words there's nothing like getting to the point. Although he may come across a bit of an arse in this book, I just know I'm going to end up loving him!
This was quite a short read for me so I was gutted when I got to The End, I really do need more! I am itching to get my eyes on volume 2 to see what happens next, I am loving it so far!
I read this on behalf of A Book Lovers Emporium Book Blog
