Just wow, so amazingly good.
This one is an emotional roller coaster of angst and emotion, this one is more emotional for what the couple went through together, rather than other influences.
Again like with the previous two story's there is so much angst, but this time it was so much different,Dylan was a complete player until Aubrey called him out on it. She was so different from all the other girls, she wasn't afraid to tell Dylan exactly that he was an "A****le". However, he was willing to change his ways for her and proved what an absolute sweetheart he could be when he was with Aubrey, he'd make you melt with the things he did and said and not just with Aubrey, but her mom too.
Dylan and Aubrey where so right for each other their love was just meant to be and you could tell they'd always love each no matter what, they were so much more than just first loves.
M Robinson has way of getting so many emotions into each story, but this time it was hard seeing a couple so young and in love go through something so emotional that affected both of them and in such different ways. This time rather than throw your kindle you wanted to jump in and hug both characters, you can't help but want help them through the struggles of their thoughts and feeling's after what happened. I think there were at times the situation of the story undid me with so many feelings.Read more ›
Did I cry?? I sobbed. All that loss :(
I got so lost in this story. I've devoured it in a day. And pretty much had tears streaming all day (an attractive puffy look for the afternoon school run).
I really loved the first book in this series and honestly didn't expect to love this one as much but it was entirely different and just on a whole other level of heartbreak and longing. The build up of Dylan and Aubrey felt so genuine and I was so immersed in it that I wasn't ready for all that follows... layer upon layer of horror, hurt and lies. Just when you think it can't get worse for them it does... over and over again. Even in the end I still felt so overwhelmingly sad for what could have been. I usually jump right into the next book but I'm not ready to move on yet. But rest assured when i do move on, (likely tomorrow lunch time ish) it will be with Austin and Briggs. For now I have a major book hangover. Waaaaa :( so emotionaaaaaaal. <3
An excellent read and would definitely recommend.
I recommend you read the previous books in this series, even though it's not needed, but you will enjoy it more.
Have the tissues ready, clear your schedule and make sure the take out menus are handy for the family, because one you start, you will not stop.
M.Robinson is a cruel, yet fantastic writer, who knows how to kill you and make you feel alive at the same time with her words.
Each book is just that bit more than the one before, and this one almost broke me with the 'book hangover' and emotional ride. God knows what the next one will be like????
I can't wait
This book wasn't just everything I hoped it was going to be it was so much more too.
Dylan and Aubrey stole my heart, I felt for them right from the start.
Their perfect love was ripped away from them following a tragedy one afternoon, this changed everything for them both.
The events that followed left me in such a state, I cried for them both.
These books just get better and better, I didn't think it was possible to pack so much into one story but M. Robinson managed it. Perfectly.
I can't praise this book enough, I just loved it.
