5.0 out of 5 stars This is an amazing and very short little book. 10 Jun. 2014

half of the book is a very very awesome introduction by Dr Kilcrease. In that introduction he shows that Flacius' doctrine was fully embraced by the Book of Concord, while his terminology as to the use of the word "substance" and Original Sin was soundly rejected. This is an important corrective to book of concord history against the new antinomians who dont like the Lutheran view on Original sin and are encouraging Lutherans to reembrace Thomist Natural Law with its rejection of Original Sin as being the total loss of the Image of God. The part by Flacius is similarly awesome and a very wholesome guide on how to read the Holy Scriptures.
