i am useless trying to find out the baddie or the person whodunnit, and this had me guessing all the way through.

Lauren and her husband have a good marriage and a son they both adore.
But nothing is happening in their sex life with Niall constantly reminding her who is the breadwinner.
And as well as her online business she is getting bored.
Her go-to person is Monique who loves to give her advice.

Lauren goes to her son's school fair and finds an old adversary of hers Bettina who wants to be friends !!
Lauren wants to know why and when things start to happen, and they are weird things and unexplained things, she turns to Monique who didn't like Bettina in the first place and is very quick to tell Lauren it must be Bettina.
But is it. and why has she returned to Sheffield and be so desperate to befriend Lauren.

This was a really good book. the writing was fast paced and I liked all the characters.
The story has enough twists and turns to keep me gripped and I absolutely loved it.

Underneath by Andie M. Long a thrilling five-star read. This is the first book by this author I have read, and it definitely won’t be the last. It has been a thrilling read from start to finish. It tells the story of Lauren Lawler she seems to have everything, a loving husband, gorgeous 9-year-old son, great best friend Monique who supports her, and is free for coffee when she needs it. A successful E-Bay business selling vintage products. Life doesn’t seem to be able to get better. Until an old-school foe Bettina comes back into her life with a son in the same class as Laurens, and wants to be friends. Add to the drama a summer fate at the school means that Lauren ends up working the sponge stocks with the nerdy teacher, who is like Clarke Kent in that he takes his glasses off, messes his hair and is secretly a hottie in disguise.
All this culminates into a disastrous few weeks for Lauren, her husband becomes distant, the teacher admits he’s hot for her, and Lauren’s best friend Monique warns her that her new friend Bettina is not right and this causes her to have some concerns, especially when things start to fall apart with her perfect life. Will the vendetta show Lauren who she can trust? Will it show her that the grass isn’t always greener?

Well this was a different story line from Ms Long. I'm not going to spoil the ending , but until twos thirds through I was convinced of the outcome then wham ! That's just clever.

What does a wife have to do to get her stuck in the mud boring husband to notice her? Sexy black underway and stockings? Well for this girl it didn't work. She's a housewife , mother, friend and runs a small business . She should be happy but life's a drudge and boring. But sometimes you should be are when you wish for excitement.

Lauren is stuck in a ten year marriage with Niall who's ten years older than her , he's a hard working family man but he's just gone quiet on her. She confineds in her best friend. Then a old blast from the past turns up at the school gates and life is never the same again for any of them.
From house break ins, car accidents, school fairs, kidnapping and even a sexy teacher. Will the family survive all this turmoil and upheaval?!

The witty banter you come to expect from this British author is here in spades . Well written and humourous but with a serious underbelly. I love Andie Long's writting which flows beautifully across the page

As i'm sat her fingers poised at the keyboard I really don't know where to start. This book definately kept me on my toes. Every time I thought I had it all figured out the author threw another spanner in the works and totally threw me off the scent. There is a lot going on in this book. You have mystery, kidnapping, a sexy teacher, a bored housewife and insane friends. I found myself cursing a lot at the characters (which isn't unusual for me) especially at Niall. I kept hoping he was gonna give is head a wobble and man up. The plot is full of twists and turns and it will definately keep you on your toes.
I loved the whole who done it vibe that was going on. I will definately be recommending this book to my book friends.

This is totally different from the previous books which I have read by this author, and my word, I was not disappointed!! This storyline is about life’s challenges, such as marriage, motherhood, friendship, family, work, and affairs.
This is a well thought out and written plot, and I was intrigued and enthralled throughout. I was certainly left guessing, as I thought I had figured everything out, and then wham; back to the drawing board. I was on tenterhooks throughout, with the twists and suspense, as well as who to trust and who not to.
Awesome job Andie! I recommend this authors work for all, and look forward to reading more from her.

This book got me guessing from the beginning to the end and I never got it right not even once. I was frustrated with Lauren for trying to throw away her marriage over a self professed ladies man. As for Bettina I couldn't see her being innocent of trying to destroy Lauren's life, when it turned out that it was her best friend it was a real shocker. There are a few punctuation mistakes but who cares. They don't make a book less interesting
