" If I had known I'd have a hot architect balls deep inside of me before the end of the weekend, I'd have made time for a pedicure." I knew I was on to a winner !!!
Welcome to the Walsh family, they are like a lot of families they are loud, scream at each other, but always have each other's backs in business and life.
Underneath it All is about Matthew Walsh he leads a very busy life full of restoring old buildings and his triathlon's but there's no room for love until Lauren comes barrelling into his life, she's all about plans and at the moment a boyfriend isn't in her plans but that doesn't stop Matthew perusing the sexy school teacher and changing both of their priorities and their lives.
This book was right up my street Matthew is a full on sexy alpha with a dirty mouth and Lauren is perfect as the reluctant girlfriend. The rest of the Walsh family made me laugh out loud with their funny one liners. I enjoyed every word of this book and can't wait to read more about this sexy hot family.
I must admit, I did admire the tenacity and resolve of Matthew. How he kept up the pursuit of Lauren is beyond me. A lot of the time I felt it was very one sided and I would have given up the chase!!
Lauren had decided that she isn’t a modern woman who can have it all. She made a choice that it was either the school or a relationship, she didn’t think she could have both. Her inability to return a text p!ssed me off….I would hate that. It takes seconds to send one lol.
I thought the characters, not just the main ones but the supporting ones too, were all well thought out.
The story itself was a sweet romantic trip along the Seine. Literally my only problem was the ridiculously in-depth descriptive passages that brought nowt to the story.
I’m rounding this up to 4* because it wasn’t a bad book, it was actually quite funny in places and my only issue is the wannabe Wordsworth prose.

The heroine annoyed me so bad. Here is a guy crazy for her and all she does is be aloof and annoying. Not cool. I actually got quite bored reading this and skipped a lot of pages.Published 6 months ago by Amrita O'sullivan
