A wonderful story - one of three books - where the family of brothers & sisters are united for the first time They've all grown up separately, yet Caroline has searched & found the brothers she eventually discovered she had. Sadly, she was not to meet her Mother, though Rowland, one of her brothers, was able to relate a little of what he knew of her. Caroline has travelled back & forth from Canada where she lives, to do her searches for information & Certificates, & indeed, has been able to trace details of her Grandparents & Great Grandparents, Aunts & Uncles. The first book: Surviving the Shadows, is the beginning of Caroline's life in an Orphanage & where she briefly meets William on a beach in Dymchurch where the various Orphanages take the children for their annual camp. They learn too, that they have two sisters who they eventually meet. The second book; Rowland, a Heart of Sunshine, is a beautiful, heart warming story of their meeting & their subsequent life together in Canada. A strong bond is formed between all five siblings & the love they have for each other is something I've never witnessed before. All three books, beautifully written, are a 'must read'.
