The chemistry between the 2 main characters was as the title reads undeniable, as the title says.
I liked how Holden had tried for a long time to deny his feelings for Karlie, but in the end he just couldn't stay away from her, even if it meant losing his best friend by crossing the line with his sister.
I loved Karlie she had been in love with Holden for a long time and had decided it was time that she moved on with her life, just in time for Holden to see the light. I liked that she was tough and even though she was lying to her brother by having a secret relationship with his friend she still did it.
This book is amazing and I would recommend it.

This story is about Holden and Karlie and is told in alternating points of view. Holden is 26 and Karlie is the 18 year old little sister of his best friend Jared. Holden has been friends with her and Jared through childhood and bouncing around in foster care since she was 16, thinking about her in an entirely different (in his words - disgusting and inappropriate way) and had become VERY jealous of her ballet dance partner (who got to touch her all the time). After Karlie graduates from high school, she and Holden finally lay out their cards and agree to spend the summer together (no strings attached) before she heads off to Dance school in New York in the fall.
No Strings attached? Who are we kidding? This is a NA novel! There's strings tangled in balls on every page you turn! It's a kittens playground! Needless to say, Holden, who comes from a rotten childhood and full of abandonment issues fights his feelings for Karlie and after a tragedy between the two of them they push each other away. (URGH FRUSTRATING!) Also, they keep the relationship from Jared afraid of what he will think of his friend with his little sister - so of course he finds out eventually!
Holden finally grows a pair after a bit of a talk down from Jared and goes after Karlie and (geez I can't stop smiling while I write this because it was so sweet) they admit their feelings for each other (sigh) - they're "Undeniable!" = )
My one thing hanging at the end of the story was that I would have been liked to see Karlie confront Grayson (her new dance partner) and find out the reasoning for sending Holden the video - was it because he was trying to help push them together? or trying to push them apart? I couldn't figure out his motive and then bugged me! Maybe I want to confirm that he's a decent guy or know for sure that he was a d-bag!
Would I recommend this book? YUP!
Karlie as had a crush on her brothers best friend, Holden, since she was 16 years old but he's a lot older and forbidden. Karlie is now 18 and about to go off to dance school, but her feelings for Holden have only intensified over the years. He's been fighting his feelings for her because he believes it's wrong and that he is a bad person. They have been drawn to each other for a long time. He's had a troubled childhood that left him scarred. But one night of passion leads to a summer fling which they both agree will end come fall. You can see Holden changing throughout the story as it progresses. But what they didn't count on is the hurdles they will have to overcome. But will they?
From the very beginning of this story I was hooked to every word, scenes and the characters. About 50% in, I thought that the story had hit a plateau and I was somewhat disappointed. But BAM! There was a twist and shift in the story where I was left grief stricken, sad and emotionally upset. I was holding by breath to see what would happen next. Micalea did not disappoint me in the least with the outcome. From there more twists and turns that were unpredictable. The writing was amazing and I loved the two main characters. She in cooperated the other characters from the previous book but not as much as the first one, which was fine. The focus was on Holden and Karlie.
This story is told in dual POV. It's a standalone with an HEA. Unraveling was the first book, I personally like to read the books in a series in order to better comprehend the plot and characters. I love a great epilogue so a I liked this one. I got to see where everyone was at. I strongly recommend this book and all of this authors previous books also.
He was eight years older and her brother’s best friend. He didn’t see her as a woman, but as a young girl, or so she thinks until one night they crossed that thin line between love and hate. They decided to make a pact spending the summer together until Karlie goes to New York to study ballet. It will all end – no hearts broken, no commitment issues.
What they didn’t expect was the fact that as they get to know more about each other, the harder they fall. But something happened, and it broke them apart. I thought it would be Jared that would break them apart first, but the reason was more devastating.
It took some time, a lot of bad decisions and wrong roads, before they were finally back into each other’s arms. The one who led them back? I didn’t expect that person to do it. But that person did, thank God. The person made Holden see some light and pushed him into the right path.
I love this book more than the first one. Perhaps because I was primarily excited to read Katy’s story, or the fact that they only need a little push to the right direction because ever since, the both of them were meant for each other. The pacing was better, it’s a little hotter and less dramatic. It’s a story of love, forgiveness (most especially forgiving oneself) and second chances.
