C.A Harms is my find of the year, I was a novice to her work as 2015 kicked off and now I have read everything she has written and I cannot wait to see what the New Year has to offer.
Undeniable was a super addition to this series, it had all the characters from the previous books and they brought their A game to the table as they fought to show their friend Jude that no matter how close he played the cards he held very close to his chest or how high he built the wall around his heart they would not allow him to side line them, he was their friend and they would fight their way in.
Callie has a heart that knows no boundaries when it comes to either compassion or love and she has had a thing for Jude for as long as anyone can remember but his cool attitude has always meant that there was never much opportunity for her feelings to be reciprocated.
It isn’t as if Jude is immune to the way Callie feels, he just had more important things to deal with, he has a family situation that broke my heart and responsibilities that while he more than willingly accepted, were at times more than any one person should have had to deal with alone.
But when he is cruelly and cowardly attacked and ends up in the hospital, it is his friends and Callie that step in to make sure that their reluctant patient is left in no doubt that he is not alone.
The guys step up and take immediate actions to improve their friends situation, I mean buying the housing complex and bringing it up to code…all in order to make sure they can improve Jude living conditions – jeez, that this determination!

C.A Harms is one of my favourite authors, I have been dying to get my hands on this book since we first saw the attraction Jude and Callie possessed toward each other.

Jude started out this book so bloody stubborn and at times cruel, I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about him in the beginning. I ended up loving him more than any of the others, even though he had been cruel and totally closed off throughout the other stories and the beginning of this one his selflessness was what made me love him most. He put everyone above himself and his heart was in the right place even when he was being a jerk.

Callie was an amazing heroine, I have to say I’ve always had a soft spot for her but in this book she completely knocked me over. Her compassion toward Jude, Katelynn, Zoey and Matthew was a beautiful thing to witness alongside the friendship she built with them all.

I loved Zoey and Matthew, they were so adorable and their mischievous side reminded me of me and my younger brother when we were little. My heart broke for the losses they endured but their uncle Jude and Callie loved them enough for everyone.

This book completely ripped my to shreds and C.A Harms tends to do to me, she always has so much emotion in her stories that the ugly crying starts and takes forever to stop.

5 Star Review
I was given this book for a honest review
This is the fourth book in the Key West Series and starts where book three finished. This Jude's and Callie's story and I have to say its the best. I love all the characters but Judd will always have a special place in my heart.
Judd is a very private person who is the sole caregiver for his disabled sister and her two children. He needs no help from anyone so he will except no help from anyone that is until he ends up in hospital and Callie phones his emergency contact and a little girl answers the phone ......
Callie has had feeling's for Judd for what feels like forever and when she finds herself in a position to help him she does what needs to be done ,she steps in and takes care of Katelynn, Zoey and Matthew. Katelynn, Zoey and Matthew fall in love with Callie which in turn means she can start to try and wear Judd down......
The characters from the previous books all come together to help the big guy who never asks or expects help and it touched my heart watching him open up to the friends and family who care so much for him. I was sad when I came to The End ......
C.A Harms is a new author to me and I was lucky enough to read all four books together and I will be looking at other series that she has written. This series will be one that I will re read from time to time because the characters are such strong loveable people and because I love the style of writing.
Well Done C.A. Harms

Reviewed on behalf of A Book Lover’s Emporium book blog

This is the first book I have read of this author and I wish I had read more and started this series from the beginning (which I will be doing once I have written this review!)

Jude Calvert is a head strong guy who provides for his family the best way he knows how – to keep everyone at arms length and let no one know of the tragedy that is unfolding in his life. He doesn’t want their charity or their pity, especially from Callie who he is determined not to admit his feelings for.

Callie Raine is a woman whose compassion and love knows no boundaries. She has been in love with Jude for years but feels her love is not reciprocated and so just plods along working at the restaurant alongside him keeping schtum.

One night Jude takes a beating and ends up in hospital in a bad way. His friends all rally round him and find out the harrowing truth of what he has been hiding from them and dealing with alone. They all step up to help Jude and his family, especially Callie, and although Jude is extremely reluctant at first, he cannot help but see the difference Callie’s presence has on his family, but is he willing to open up fully to the possibility of having Callie in his life and will Callie stand by the man she has loved forever?

This book took me on a rollercoaster ride with my emotions. The situation Jude’s family are faced with is written extremely well, and having been through something similar I applaud the author for the way she has tackled it. If you’re a stickler like me and like to read books in order then I urge you to find book one in this series, Unpredictable, and start there.
