This is Thomas Gallo's book and oh boy it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole way through!! The anticipation while reading this book was beyond brilliant. Thomas has been undercover for over a year with the Sun Devil's MC and he seems a bit lost, he has been gone from his family for a long time and has missed so much. The work he is doing is for the good but he still can't shake his feelings of loneliness, at least he has Roxy. Roxy is a stripper who Thomas can be himself around, but because he is undercover he knows nothing big can come out of it. No longer able to hold his feeling at bay - he is more than ready to go home, but is there a way he can take the one woman who means so much to him, the woman he loves??
Chelle Bliss really pulls on the heart strings in this one, it's a total knock-out!! It is more serious than the others, which adds to the anticipation and is definitely worth the risk to read it and see that family bond is still strong, but, maybe with Thomas home it is that bit stronger

Last year I read Owned: An Alpha Anthology which had nine fabulous snippets or novellas from some authors I knew of and some I discovered and wanted more of, Chelle Bliss being one. ‘Resisting’ was Izzy & James and I liked it – strong, sassy, take no sh*t woman and an alpha male ready, willing and able to take her, the banter between them plus a hot connection full of emotion was enjoyable.

My next foray into Ms Bliss’s writing was ‘The Gallos: The Beginning’ and I loved it. It’s nice to see an author not afraid to show older characters having *gasp* sex! Just because you’re parents, just because you’re in your fifties doesn’t mean everything is withered up and dead, that you lose the urge or that the scene can’t be just as hot as the ones written for the kids. Seeing the Gallos interacting in normal family situations with banter, wit and sarcasm, the different family dynamics and personalities makes a good introduction to this series. Then we come to City and Suzy, he grew on me although I didn’t always like his attitude to women, Throttle Me (#1) was a solid 4 star.

As Chelle Bliss is new to me I still have a couple more to catch up on but I seized the opportunity to read Uncover Me (#4). Unfortunately I didn’t connect with Thomas and Roxy, there was a lack of depth and rapport between them which meant I failed to become invested – with more emotional growth I might have had the feels but, as a couple, it felt very tepid compared with the sexy hotness this author can create, and that extra special connection the previous books showed so well when a Gallo man finds his One didn’t show through.

This is the darkest of the series so far. Thomas Gallo is an undercover cop who is living a dangerous lie in the name of justice.

After devouring Books 1-3 in the Men of Inked series, I had to read this one as Thomas was intriguing.

We know very little about him, as he has been away from the family for some years working undercover. I really enjoyed this story as it gave us an insight into the dangers he encountered with the MC gang he had infiltrated. We discover that he has forged a steady relationship with an exotic dancer, and they clearly care for each other deeply.

There was tension (as well as plenty of 'sexy times') and it was great to read about his return to the Gallo family.

Any time I read one of the Men of Inked books I am torn. I fell for City in book one in such a big way....but with each new book that love is put to the test!!!
Stop it Chelle!!
Thomas is everything you want in a man. Protective, dirty, has a nasty mouth...basically he is a Gallo man!

The writing with each book gets better, the story flowing so fast that I can't turn he pages fast enough. I swear I love theses stories...I don't just read them! they take me away into a fictional world that I really don't want to leave, actually that is the only bad bit about this book...finishing it!
The story is just...gah! I think I enjoyed it so much as it took a step away from hat tight family unit that the other Gallos are part of, he still loves his family, but he doesn't feel a large part of it yet. It think those would be normal feelings in this situation and I love that it feels real. You wouldn't return home after all he has experienced and slip straight into family life like he had never been gone! As I say, he is very much a Gallo man, but he's different, his story is most definitely his own, and I love that it was written so I can read it!

First class book from a first class author! Keep up the good work....but stop testing my love for City!! <3

Chelle Bliss wrote that this was a different book for her to write and hoped that readers would enjoy it. I enjoyed it. It was actually much better written than the others. The first part when Blue (Thomas) was undercover in the MC was excellent. It detailed the lifestyle he had to live and the struggle against what he knew was right, his job and Roxy (Angel), against his 'brothers' in the MC.
The rest was very much like the others in the series, lighter with Angel and Thomas finding themselves a place back with the Gallo family. Of course there has to be a problem. That's where it drops a star for me.
Did Thomas change his appearance? This wasn't detailed anywhere and I thought it would have been a big part of him coming back to his real life. I also thought Roxy's mother, the stalking man and the rival MC biker part was really rushed and left of unanswered questions.
A book of two halves.
