Was fantastic to hear this again after so many years. Had the tunes in my head for decades. Thing is- it is as good as I remembered. if not better. Amazing unsung album. Surprised not more people know it.

I love this album, even 30 years on. Flux moved away from their classic Strive to Survive album style and this is a mix of everything. It's less angry, more musical but hard to pinpoint a genre for it.

Either way, it's outside the punk box - think how Black Flag changed with My War and you get the drift!

Anarchopunks Flux Of Pink Indians get produced by dub genius Adrian Sherwood, the result is a mash of loud guitars, percussion, trumpet, intriguing lyrics... it's not straight punk and it's not straight dub... it's something else...

3.0 out of 5 stars A TURN FOR THE UNEXPECTED !!! 21 Mar. 2005
By JUAN MARTIN GABASTOU - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
O this their 3rd studio lp,the band goes funk-dance oriented,so don't expect to find ANY of their good old HC punk here.Musically OK,but targeted at another kind of audiencee, despite their sticking to the anarcho-political lyrics.

4.0 out of 5 stars This is who!? 22 Oct. 2013
By KendoPt4 - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
I remember my friend asking if I had heard the latest FOPI album and he popped this cassette in. I couldn't believe it was FOPI, but thought it was a funky weird little gem with some decent drumming. I read somewhere that FOPI themselves have a rather low opinion of this album, referring to it as self-indulgent garbage if I recall correctly. Oh well, I still like some of the tracks on it and it brings back memories of jamming to it on a murky dubbed cassette in a boombox in various dark alleys and squat houses, and enjoying punks' reactions when you tell them who it is.
