This is a brilliant edition. Thank you to the publisher for creating this. I love the the ability to flip into the complete bible text, and back to the commentary. The direct verse jumping is awesome. For anyone who is really interested in studying the word, you won't get much better than Matthew Henry's Commentary on the Whole Bible. Truly the man was inspired by God. I have been so blessed in expanding my knowledge from a man who passed away 300 years ago! Matthew Henry gives a verse by verse commentary on the bible that really is amazing. I have bought both the concise and another full version from another publisher they are good, but not as good as this edition. The price is great. Peace be with you.

I wanted a good bible for my new Kindle but wanted to make sure it had a good way to lookup references.

Being new to the Kindle I was not sure how much of a challenge this actually is. Having said this, I am convinced that this is perhaps the best on offer at the moment.

The content is excellent - Matthew Henry's commentary - unabridged and the KJV bible. Full navigation is only possible after the ebook is fully indexed (this happens automatically but seemed to take a couple of hours for me). Once the indexing is completed, you can move around the book by typing short-cuts such as mk.1.3 for Mark chapter 1 verse 3 for example. The left and right buttons on the 5 way switch also moves between chapters. Overall it is an OK interface.

Personally I prefer the New King James version, but the only one on offer in the UK does not have this 'Direct Verse Jump' interface which is a deal-breaker for me. I'm hoping that in time other bibles will be released with better interfaces - this still feels a little clunky but probably is the best out there.

Matthew Henry's commentaries are among the best I have read, ideal for the beginner and more the advanced Bible student. I have printed copies at home and others on computer but this edition on Kindle is splendid. It is easy to find the relevant comments on any portion of Scripture. The price is amazingly low. And Kindle is so wonderfully portable for holidays and journeys.
Congratulations to those who worked to make it so accessible. What a blessing!

Matthew Henry my favourite commentary book to study with. I am not good with all this new technology but found this kindle version easy to use and has the added bonus of having a dictionary included with it. I always found it hard to keep flicking through the pages from Bible verses to commentry but this makes it simple.
And for the price how can you fail to be impressed.

Matthew Henry's commentary is a tremendous help for the Bible-believing Christian, so it was one of the first things I downloaded when given a new Kindle Touch a couple of days ago. This particular edition, if it had worked for me, would have provided good navigation facilities. Sadly it just wouldn't index on my device, so I decided after two days to give up and return it for a refund.

I've tried to buy this book twice, but it's incredibly slow on my kindle paper white! The publishers really need to try and improve the kindle experience, even if it means increasing the price (Because it'll be worth it)! It's such a shame because a lot of us are missing out on words of wisdom from a man who really understood God's Word.

I really like Matthew Henry's commentary (I have the book). I wanted a Kindle version so that it was easier to transport (the book is huge). I can't access the index/contents. When I press 'Go to...' I get a black screen. It's not very useful at all. I hope this can be fixed somehow as I expect the commentary will be useful!
