I bought this for my mother who needs an operation on her knee. She is unable to put any weight on her knee and so she is very limited as to the range of exercise she can do. However, this mini bike is great as she can exercise whilst sat in her armchair watching telly! It is easy to use, has different tension levels and does not take up lots of room.

Just got one of these Mini Bikes and for the last few days have been using 2 or 3 times daily for half an hour. I'm no spring chicken any more, so it's a great way of getting some energy going and so flexible to use. Foot pedalling from a seated position or arm rotating on the desk or table. Beats walking in the rain, and a welcome addition even in the sun....

I bought this for my husband who suffers from severe COPD. He is unable to do any normal excerise and this has enabled him to start slowly. He has been encouraged to use this every day and slowly build up his very weak legs.

Recommended by others for someone who needs exercise but can't use a normal bike of other forms of exercise equipment. My doctor is very please with my buying this and suggests that it will help with my condition. I would recommend this to everybody, whether they have health problems or not. Ten minutes a day does wonders.

I spend a lot of time at my computer so I brought this to live under my desk to keep me a bit more active and hopefully burn a few extra calories. Since I got it a few months ago I've used it for around 2-3 hours pretty much everyday and it still works really well (though recently it has developed a bit of an occasional squeak but I'm sure that could be easily sorted) . It was very easy to put together and provides a nice smooth motion. For only £30 I think this was a fabulous investment. Please note however if you have a wheelie chair and wooden floor you will also need to invest in some non slip casters to avoid constantly rolling away from you desk.

The only real issue I would say with this machine (hence only 4 out of 5) is that the display seems to be a bit pointless regarding distance and calories. It doesn't specify the units of distance and they doesn't seem to match with anything I have tried to estimate based on time spent peddling, but then if you don't care how far you've theoretically travelled this doesn't really matter. As for the calories count, I would ignore this entirely as it's way too high to be real, but again, this isn't really a problem as you can use websites like My Fitness Pal instead and get a calorie count which is much more accurate.

Overall I would say this was an excellent purchase and great for keeping me moving when otherwise I'd just be sitting on my fat ass.

I use it to regain leg use since I have MS. After few sessions I have noticed improvement in body warmth, toe movement , leg mobility. It is an excellent rehab aid.

Too light, too small,Rubber feet not adequate enough to support anything other than very slow pedalling.Rubber feet will not hold on wood flooring,or even on carpet, without the machine moving about.Needs both sets of feet to be bigger to support the motion of the machine, and the rubber feet to be much more substantial.

This is a great piece of kit or anyone interested in some light exercise cycling. It's very simple to setup (it comes with a small spanner and an allen key for this purpose) and is small enough to store away neatly in a cupboard, but is too tall to store under a bed.

The display is clear, features distance, revolutions and calories burned, and the unit is easy to operate as there is only one button, which resets the display back to zero. There is also a screw on the front of the unit, enabling you to make it harder or easier to cycle by giving less or more resistance to the turning of the pedals.

I've been using the unit for about three weeks now, and am very pleased with it. I can't imagine it would give you a very hard workout, for those who are already very fit. But for those couch potatoes amongst us it's a great way to get some exercise while remaining in front of the television!
