All in all a bit disappointed
BUT, the tips are good. Not many, but the ones that are covered there are explained very well.
The style might work well for others, but I found it frustrating to keep hearing about the delighted reactions of the audience and the easily impressed narrator. When, for example, I was unable to instantly conjure feelings of euphoria by summoning a happy memory and "spinning it around", it was aggravating and off-putting to read how an entire room of people could achieve this effortlessly, and how fantastically ingenious the narrator found it.
I don't doubt these techniques can be highly effective, but exaggerating those effects to the point of making them look magical, and dismissing the effort required to actually create a happy state (at least for people with chronic low mood/depression) was a big turn-off for me.
- i'll keep reading and update but i fear it is unreadable
however it's my fault entirely for not downloading a sample to read first - lesson1 !

Regret my purchase. The style is dreadful- be prepared! The book is written in a story format, describing a day at a seminar. AWFUL. Hated it.Published 17 days ago by anniew
Interesting read without being amazing. There are clearer and easier to read NLP books. Would be useful to someone who has no idea about NLP though as a first introduction.Published 6 months ago by Dolly200
It's an amazing book. It teaches you how to read a person and analyse their behaviour which is always good to be able to do so.Published 8 months ago by Amazon Customer
