I have just acquired this e-book, and I am finding it useful already

What I like is its emphasis on *really* learning the open strings - obvious when you think about it, and remember years of fumbling about, but this is the first time I've seen it emphasised

The book is worth the purchase price for that alone

I am looking forward to really enjoying the rest of it

After trying off and on for years to learn the guitar with books and the odd lesson I have now started to get to grips with the basics, this guide is really good as it starts with the groundwork of learning and knowing your guitar before trying to learn the odd chord or painfully plucked tune. You have to be patient and follow the advice and not be tempted to skip parts that you don't think you need. Short sessions are advised and are best for things to sink in and stay there, I would recommend this guide above any others I have tried, it is very easy to understand.
Glad I bought it...... Many thanks Eric.

This book essentially says "Go up and down the strings and then across them memorising all the notes". Er, okayyy I could have figured that out on my own. Pretty little diagrams of areas of the fretboard with the note names on them, but nothing new or helpful here.

Good excercises but needs to work on more:for instance left hand and where you go from here. Nothing about progressing to modes and scales. Incomplete as a work but a good place to start

Gives a better basic understanding of thr relationship between notes and patterns of notes than some other books which just rely on exercises

Lots of books show you the chord positions but this one takes you through the process of learning the notes at each location on each string in a methodical way. I liked the way it is constructed.
